Clinical Observation Of Modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction And Siteng Yixian Decoction In Treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Patients Of Qi Deficiency And Static Blood Syndrome

Objective:By obserse the changes of clinical symptom score of Traditional Chinese Medical(TCM),Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument(MNSI)physical examination grade,vibration perception threshold and Ankle-Brachial Index(ABI)of the Modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction and Siteng Yixian decoction in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)patients of qi deficiency and static blood syndrome,to analyze the improvement of clinical symptoms and neurosigns.For these datas,to assess the effects of t the Modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction and Siteng Yixian decoction in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients of qi deficiency and static blood syndrome,and in order to provide some reference for clinical application.Methods:68 patients with the criterion of DPN are divided into treatment group and control group,34 cases of each group were given the basic treatment of diabetes mellitus;the control group was given oral mecobalamin tablets,and the treatment group was given oral the modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction and Siteng Yixian decoction.The total course of the two groups were 12 weeks.To observe the changes of the patients on clinical symptom score of TCM,MNSI physical examinations grade,vibration perception threshold,ABI,FPG,2hPG,HbA1 c,liver function,renal function,etc,and record before and after treating.And then proceed relevant statistics analysis.Results:(1)Expulsion rate:32 patients completed the study in treatment group,fall off 2 cases,and the expulsion rate was 6%;30 patients completed in the control group,fall off 4 cases,and the expulsion rate was 12%,and expulsion rate comparing was no significant difference between two groups,in addition no effect on the study(P>0.05).(2)Effective rateof TCM symptoms:After the treatment,the clinical symptoms of both groups were all improved,the total effective rate was 90.63% in treatment group and 70.00% in control group(P<0.05).(3)TCM syndrome score:After the treatment,both groups can significantly reduce various types of TCM symptom integral and total symptom score(P<0.05),and the treatment did better than the control group in numbness,pain and cold extremities symptom score,but there was no significant difference between two groups in systemic symptom and paraesthesia symptom score(P>0.05).(4)MNSI physical examinations grade:After the treatment,the levels of the MNSI physical examinations grade were lower after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),moreover treatment group fell faster than control group(P<0.05),and all showed statistical difference.(5)ABI:After the treatment,the levels of the ABI were higher after treatment in both group(P<0.05),moreover treatment group rose faster than control group(P<0.05),and all showed statistical difference.(6)Vibration perception threshold inspection:After the treatment,the vibration perception threshold was lower in both group(P<0.05),but the treatment group was significantly lower(P<0.05).(7)Glycemic control level:After the treatment,both groups of FPG,2hPG and HbA1 c levels were lower than before(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).(8)Security analysis:Before and after the treatment,the results of all participants ' security indices,symptom and sign showed no obvious abnormalities.Conclusion:the Modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction and Siteng Yixian decoction can improve the clinical symptoms and neurosigns of DPN patients of qi deficiency and static blood syndrome,meanwhile it also can promote blood circulation of lower limb and increased sensory sensitivity.It ensures safety without obvious adverse reaction,so it provide some reference for clinical practice.
