Analysis Of Acupoint Selection On Treating Mild Cognitive Impairment By Acupuncture Based On Data Mining

Objective: To discuss and organize the regularity of acupoint' use and comparability of mild cognitive impairment(including MCI and VMCI)treated by acupuncture using data mining,so as to make a reference for choosing acupoints and making prescription in clinic.Methods: 1.Articles were collected following the search strategies which were made,and screened meeting the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.Than,MCI's prescription database was formed in Excel with the information extracted from the included articles,which was containing article's name,author,public time,cases of treatment and controlled groups,main and matching acupoint,treating methods of treatment and controlled groups,therapeutic effect,total effective rate,et al.Following,normalize the acupiont names in the database.2.The laws were obtained about the frequency of acupoints,meridians,body parts and specific acupionts,and the clustering and matching of acupoints by using the analysis of frequency,clustering and association in the software Excel,SPSS22.0 and Clementine12.0.Results: 1.There were 137 prescriptions in the MCI's database.The results of frequency analysis showed that 85 acupionts were involved in the MCI treating by acupuncture,and used in the frequency of 1290 times,including the acupionts of fourteen meridians,extra acupionts and scalp lines.Among them,the most commomly used points were Baihui,Taixi,Shenting,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Sishencong.Besides,among the uses of meridians,the top one was Du Meridian,and than were Stomach Meridian,Kidney Meridian,Gallbladder Meridian and Spleen Meridian.The lest use was Lung Meridian.Furthermore,in the body-part frequency,the use from more to less was head-face and neck,legs,upper limbs,chest and abdomen,and back.In the specific points,Crossing points were used the most,next were Five Shu points,Yuan-primary points and Luo-connecting points.Xi-cleft point was used lest.2.The results of association showed that eight match-points were produced with the support up to 40%,confidence up to 80%,which were Baihui and Taixi,Baihui and Shenting,Baihui and Zusanli,Baihui and Sanyinjiao,Baihui amd Sishencong,Sanyinjiao and Neiguan,Baihui and Neiguan,Taixi,Zusanli and Baihui,Baihui and Fengchi,Shenting and Fengchi.3.5 categories were produced by the clustering analysis,which were Shenmen,Lianquan,Dicang,Weizhong,Zhaohai,Ganshu,Dazhui,Fengfu,Shenshu,Zhongwan for the cluster one,Waiguan,Guanyuan,Qihai,Geshu,Xuehai for the cluster two,Dazhong and Xuanzhong for the cluster three,Yintang and Renzhong for the cluster four,and Neiguan,Sanyinjiao for the last.Conclusion: 1.According to the results of data mining,acupunctists nowadays select the local points mainly combining with dialectical points to treat MCI,prefer to use the points in yang meridians such as Baihui for the most in the sea of yang channels of Du Meridian,and make a focus on acupoint matching principles of upper-lower and far-near point selection with the use of Baihui for the most combining with the points which can nourish the kidney and spleen.2.The rules and characteristics of acupoints based on data mining of this research are almost consistent with those in clinical treatment and can be a reference for clinic.But the effectiveness of the results still requires high quality clinical research methods for validation.
