ObjectiveThis study was to investigate the serum levels of VILIP-1 in patients with ischemic stroke and to explore the correlation between VILIP-1 and the severity and prognosis of ischemic stroke.MethodsA total of 108 patients with ischemic stroke were enrolled in the Yanbian area.103 healthy person with matched age and sex were collected.According to the NIHSS rating scale, patients with ischemic stroke were assessed for neurological deficits at admission. The severity was divided into mild, moderate and heavy.According to the improved Rankin scale, the prognosis of patients was divided into complete asymptomatic group,no obvious disability group, mild disability group, moderate disability group, moderate to severe disability group. The serum VILIP-1 concentration was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Result1.There was no significant difference in serum VILIP-1 level between different sex and age groups, but the level of VILIP-1 in ischemic stroke group was significantly higher than that in control group(4.23 ± 2.56ng/ml vs.3.03 ± 1.90ng/ml,P<0.001).Serum VILIP-1 levels in patients with ischemic stroke were higher than those in the control group.2.The levels of serum VILIP-1 in the patients with mild, moderate and severe groups were(3.42 ± 1.63,6.31 ± 1.80,11.17 ± 1.14ng/ml,P<0.001),and the mean levels of the two groups were Statistically significant, and with the NIHSS score gradually increased, ischemic stroke group serum VILIP-1 level concentration also increased.3.The results showed that the short-term prognosis was statistically difference between the serum level of VILIP-1 table score between each group of Rankin(P<0.05),moderate to severe disability group serum VILIP-1 levels were significantly higher than that of completely asymptomatic group,no significant disability group, mild disability group, moderate disability group(P<0.05).With the higher prognosis score of patients with IS,the serum VILIP-1 levels also increased gradually.4.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that VILIP-1 level was an independent risk factor for the prognosis of ischemic stroke after adjusting for the prognostic factors such as HCY,CRP and blood glucose.Conclusion1.The level of serum VILIP-1 can be used as a reference for the diagnosis of ischemic stroke and can predict the severity of ischemic stroke2.The level of serum VILIP-1 is an independent risk factor for the prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke and can predict the short-term prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke.
