Objective:To discuss the influence of postoperative psychiatric complication on prognosis of the cases of ALD underwent LT and the treatment.Methods:71 cases of ALD from Jan.2000 to Aug.2016 underwent LT in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University(GROUP 1).84 cases of NALD from Jan.2000 to Aug.2016 underwent LT in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University(GROUP2).The pathogenesis, preoperative liver function, preoperative complications, prognosis and treatment were compared. Results:Age was similar in Group 1 versus 2(P>0.05).Male is significantly higher in Group 1(P<0.05).Morbidity of psychiatric complications was higher in Group 1 versus 2.Symptoms of psychiatric complications were more serious in Group 1.Psychiatric complications have a greater influence on prognosis in Group 1 versus 2(P<0.05).The liver function of preoperative didn't influence the prognosis(P<0.05).For Group 1,early abstinence can improve the prognosis(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early LT provided excellent short-term survival in both ALD and NALD patient.Morbidity of psychiatric complications was higher and symptoms of psychiatric complications were more serious in patients of ALD underwent LT.Early abstinence can improve the prognosis of the ALD patients underwent LT.Prompt and effective treatment improved the prognosis.Large prospective studies and longer follow up are necessary.
