In the field of denture processing,our country usually uses the traditional denture processing way or the advanced foreign digital denture processing way to process denture.If we adopt the traditional denture processing method,it will not only take a long time,but also need the senior technical workers.On the other hand,the foreign advanced denture processing system can achieve good processing result,but its price is high.There are lots of oral disease patients in our country.As a result,it is of great importance to develop the high-performance denture processing system by ourselves and improve the efficiency of these machines as well as reduce the processing cost to meet the domestic demands of oral patients.In this context,the CIMS institute of HFUT has developed a digital five-axis linkage denture processing center and further studied the processing performance of this equipment.Based on these studies,the research contents of this dissertation are as follows:(1)The mechanical structure design of this five-axis linkage denture processing center.This dissertation analyzes three kinds of denture processing center configuration scheme based on the functions and requirements of the denture processing.The final configuration scheme is determined through comparisons of structure characteristic,kinematics control algorithms and cost of three configuration schemes.In the detailed design stage of the denture processing center,the selections of standard parts and designs of key parts are completed and the entity prototype is made based on the detailed model of five-axis linkage denture processing center.This dissertation proposes a kinematics modeling method of the five-axis linkage denture processing center based on screw theory.(2)The static and dynamic performance analysis of the five-axis linkage denture processing center.In order to improve the dynamic performance of independent design and manufacture of five axis denture processing center,this dissertation establishes a credible simulation model.this dissertation proposes a kind of engineering analysis method to be applied to the denture processing center,which obtains the whole machine test modal parameters and the relatively accurate calculation model through comparative analysis of the simulation analysis and modal test.According to the results of the modal analysis and the actual working condition of the prototype,the weak links of the whole structure are identified preliminarily and the corresponding improvement schemes are put forward.Structure optimization makes the natural frequency of the whole machine avoid the processing frequency of the equipment effectively and improves the dynamic performance of the equipment.(3)The design and performance analysis of control system of this five-axis linkage denture processing center.Through the analysis of a variety of open numerical control systems,this dissertation builds on the platform of separate hardware structure based on the PC + motion controller and develops the control system software of the five-axis linkage denture processing center based on the Visual Studio development environment which realizes the intelligent and digital processing function.Based on these,the equipment parameters of servo control system are optimized which are based on the PID and trap servo control algorithm.Thus,the static and dynamic characteristics of the control system have been improved.(4)Denture processing tests.This dissertation studies the digital denture acquisition method,selects the suitable spindle speed of the dynamic performance of this equipment and processes the crown and bridge teeth with complex topography.Besides,the denture processing results have been comprehensive evaluated through the 3D profilometer and empirical method.The results show that the expected design requirements of the five-axis linkage denture processing center have been reached.The developed five-axis linkage denture processing center has processed nearly a hundred dentures,which have been successfully applied for patients with good responses,and this equipment was also exhibited in the 21 st session of China international exhibition on dental equipment material and technology exchange meeting in 2016 with extensive attentions.
