Objective: Diabetic lower extremity vascular disease is one of the most important complications of diabetes,is the main risk of patients with diabetic foot ulcers and amputations factors, the prevalence of the investigation of lower extremity vascular disease in type 2 diabetic patients and analyze the risk factors,in order to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetic patients with lower extremity arterial disease. Methods: From January 2013 to August 2014 in type 2 diabetic patients admitted to the Department of Endocrinology, provincial hospital affiliated to Medical University Of Anhui(T2DM)in 520 patients, male 322 cases, female 198 cases.520 patients with T2 DM were examined with Doppler ultrasound and ankle arm of SBP,the calculation of ankle brachial index(ABI),according to ABI,the subjects were divided into PAD group(ABI = 0.9)and non PAD group(ABI>0.9),blood lipid, blood glucose of patients, record the patient's age, gender, disease duration, height, weight, smoking and other vascular lesions, body mass index(BMI),records of patients with systolic pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)values were statistically analyzed.Using SPSS17 software.Measurement data were expressed as + s groups were compared using independent samples t test;count data expressed as number and percentage were compared by 2 test;using Logistic regression analysis of all relevant factors(independent variables)and dependent variable(lower extremity arterial disease The regression coefficient of the Wa Id test, the test level to <0.01 value P is defined as a statistically significant.Results:(1)520 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes,105 cases with PAD,the incidence rate was 20.2%.compared with non PAD group,PAD group, age, disease duration, smoking index was significantly higher(P<0.01);(2)compared with non PAD group,PAD group,SBP,DBP,the prevalence rate of hypertension was significantly higher(P<0.01);(3)compared with non PAD group,PAD group,LDL-C,LDL-C/HDL-C,TC/HDL-C levels were significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);(4)with no lower extremity arterial disease as the dependent variable,by gender, age, smoking index,BMI,FPG,Hb A1 c,course of disease,SBP,DBP.The incidence of hypertension,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,TC/HDL-C,LDL-C/HDL-C as independent variables for Logistic regression analysis showed that age, smoking index is an independent risk factor in patients with lower limbs of type 2 diabetes mellitus(OR=1.077,1.021).Conclusion:Type 2 diabetic patients with lower extremity arterial disease prevalence rate, clinical symptoms, prevalence can not be ignored;PAD patients with type 2diabetes and aging, long course of disease, high blood pressure or hypertension and dyslipidemia, smoking in patients with diabetes.PAD promote the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetic lower extremity should start from various risk factors, the implementation of comprehensive intervention, and warned that smoking and smoking cessation.
