Objective This study was conducted to describe the level of quality of life and social support in chronic angle-closure glaucoma patients and to analyze the relationship between quality of life social support in chronic angle-closure glaucoma patients.Methods Adopt the method of random sampling .The patients with chronic angle-closure glaucoma in a hospital of Beijing were selected as the research subjects . Survey tool includes general information questionnaire, NEI-VFQ-25 scale and the Social Support Rating Scale.Descriptives analysis ,t-test, ANOVA and linear correlation were by using SPSS13.0.Results 1 .the investigation and study of CACG patients quality of life of each dimension in different gender, marriage, education, work, family, payment method, the economic burden,smoking, chronic diseases, family history, sick time differences have statistical significance Women, married, college degree or above, working and living with their families, the burden of health care, light, no smoking, chronic diseases, family history, sick time is less than 1 year of CACG patients scored higher than male, single, primary school and the following education, unemployment, live alone, at his own expense, heavy economic burden, smoking,chronic diseases, family history, greater than 5 years of CACG patients sick time 2.the investigation and study of CACG patients' social support each dimension in different gender,marriage, education, working status, family, payment method, the economic burden, alcohol consumption, chronic diseases, family history, sick time differences have statistical significance Women, married, college degree or above, working, living with family, health,economic burden is light, sick time is less than 1 year, family history, chronic diseases of CACG patients scored higher than male, single, primary school and the following education,unemployment, live alone, at his own expense, heavy economic burden, sick time is more than 5 years, family history and CACG patients of chronic diseases.Results The level of quality of life was positively correlated with in glaucoma patients.
