Jiangxi province is located in the south of China,a large amount of water resources and uneven distribution.Due to geographical and natural conditions and historical reasons,there is no water storage project in rural areas,therefore,the lack of drinking water in a local area is still quite serious.At the same time,from the analysis of water quality in Jiangxi province are mostly water,natural water quality is good,but in some areas the water fluoride,arsenic and other components seriously exceed the standard;drinking water quality is not up to the living water,seriously affected the villagers around the physical and mental health,directly lead to various diseases,deterioration of farmers living environment,restricting the pace of local farmers.In this paper,through the analysis of water source and water supply pipe water treatment research,applied research,special research equipment,water quality testing system of waterworks,overall design and other sectors,to explore the related issues of rural drinking water safety engineering design,the research includes source selection,plant layout,water treatment,water distribution,water quality monitoring,water metering etc.,and study design of single households or households,single village water supply works,cross Township Cross Village centralized water supply project.Through this study,it is conducive to optimize the design and implementation of drinking water safety procedures,to explore new ideas of drinking water safety,and promote the early resolution of the problem of unsafe drinking water,to ensure that the masses of farmers to drink safe water.At the same time,can reduce the labor intensity of the rural drinking water safety engineering design personnel,to speed up the construction of rural drinking water safety project,is conducive to the construction of new rural areas,is conducive to speeding up the process of rural modernization.
