Study On Cash Flow Management In Shandong XK Hospital

In the moment of private hospital management has become increasingly international combined with more and more free practice doctors, China's public hospitals are faced with the challenge of enterprise transformation. As a important measure of the financial operation of a hospital, cash flow can not only provide reference for the decision of hospital management but also can play a certain role of risk warning. This paper studied Shandong XK hospital from the perspective of cash flow and gave some feasible proposals for cash flow management of this hospital so that make its financial management to a higher level.First of all, this article introduced the theoretical basis of cash flow management. After defining the concept of cash flow and cash flow management, the paper described the theory from three aspects of basic theory, application theory and theory for special industry. Then the paper analyzed the uses and sources of the hospital's cash flow, which built the foundation of application. Meanwhile, the paper introduced the preparation of the cash flow statement, which provides the technical assistant of measurement research.On the basis of the theoretical foundation above, this paper made a theoretical analysis and quantitative research on the cash flow management of Shandong XK hospital. The paper argued that defects in drug management system, medical accounts receivable management, inventory cost control combined with blind introducing of large scale equipment and unreasonable health financing led to a relatively slow cash flow of the hospital.Aiming at the problems of cash flow management in Shandong XK hospital, this paper put forward the specific countermeasures to improve the level of its cash flow management, for instance, strengthen budget preparation, the preparation of cash flow statement, control inventory, improve efficiency of inventory management, the reinforce the management of medical accounts receivable, establish the index of working capital evaluation, and the like, so that to improve the level of cash flow management of Shandong XK hospital.Overall, this paper studied and analyzed the cash flow operation and cash flow management of Shandong XK hospital. Based on the relative theory in cash flow management and combined with the experience of cash flow management of other hospitals and corporate, this paper shed a light on improving the internal environment of hospital financial system. In allusion to the existing problem, this paper proposed lots of effective and feasible methods and means, so as to increase the rate of capital gains and the turnover rate, which could bring more benefit for the hospital and could provide more references and basis for decision-making of the managers of the hospital.
