Objective To provide a simple, convenient and effective method for clinical treatment of asthenia type constipation of uremic hemodialysis patients through observing the clinical effect of pressing beans at auricular points on uremic hemodialysis patients with asthenia type constipation and evaluating its safety. Methods The plan of auricular pressure was established for uremic hemodialysis patients with asthenia type constipation after reviewing references and consulting with experts. According to the inclusion and exclusion standard,68 uremic patients with asthenia type constipation from the hemodialysis center at Ningbo Traditional Hospital from January to June 2016 were selected. According to the randomized method, these patients were classified into control group and treatment group, with 34 patients in each group. Control group:They were given regular dietary guidance, and their weight and proper activities during the hemodialysis were strictly controlled. Those who hadn't defecated for 3 days were given Congrong Purgative Oral Liquid, with a dosage of 20ml/day, the oral liquid being taken on an empty stomach in the morning and stopped immediately after defecation, with 4 weeks as one course of treatment and totally 2 courses of treatment. Treatment group:Based on the above in the control group, they were provided with the predetermined plan of auricular pressure (main points:large intestine, rectum, sanjiao; auxiliary points: lung, spleen, kidney), with 4-time pressing every day and 1-2min every time. The pressing was carried out 30min after three meals and was carried out before sleeping, with 2-day duration for each cycle,3 cycles a week, and 1-day off every week. The pressing for both ears were carried out alternately, with 4 weeks as one course of treatment and totally 2 courses of treatment. After the test was finished, the constipation clinical syndromes of the treatment group were followed up for 4 weeks, and the changes in the effective rate of treating constipation, the effective rate of constipation, the TCM syndromes, the quality of life and other indexes of the two groups were observed. Results (1)Before treatment, two group of patients with age, hemodialysis time, gender, daily urine volume, motion frequency, primary disease and monitoring indexes showed no significant differences (P>0.05).(2)After treatment, the treatment group of effective rate of constipation was 91.18%,while control group was 55.88%. there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).(3)After treatment, constipation integral between two groups was statistically significant difference (P<0.05),the constipation integral in the treatment group had a gradual decline and a statistic significance (P<0.01) (4)The TCM syndrome score between two groups was statistically significant difference(P<0.05),the TCM syndrome score in the treatment group had a gradual decline and a statistic significance.(5)The result between two groups showed that the VT?MH quality life dimension was s statistically significance difference (P<0.05),the PF?RP?BP?VT?RE? MH life quality dimension in the treatment group had a statistic significance (P<0.05), especially in RP?MH quality life.(6)A month after the treatment, constipation integral of the treatment group was statistically significant difference(P<0.05),constipation integral of the treatment group was still has the improvement. Conclusions The method of auricular pressure could effectively alleviate the symptoms of uremic hemodialysis patients with asthenia type constipation and improve their quality of life. It was a simple, convenient and reliable method for treating constipation and worthy of widespread clinical development and promotion.
