Objective To retrospectively compare the clinical medical records between Hui and Han gastric cancer(GC) patients. Methods Our research carried out by the subject of two parts,Part 1:A retrospectively analysis of 321 cases of hospitalized patients diagnosed with gastric cancer from Ningxia People's Hospital in January of 2012 to September of 2015.All of them were divided into Hui and Han groups, then counted the basic information and various laboratory parameters after admission(before surgery).Such as age, sex, permanent residence, main complaint, disease location, histological type and grade, ABO blood type, family history and the history of tobacco and alcohol use?Helicobacter pylori infection.Last, compared all of the above between these two groups. Part 2:Meta-analysis: use the keywords such as "gastric cancer / carcinoma+ Ethnic / Hui, stomach cancer + Ethnic / Hui, gastrointestinal cancer + Ethnic / Hui, gastric cancer / carcinoma + ethnic / nationality" and then retrieval the "Medical network, CNKI database, Pub Med " which has been published and relates to the analysis points of our research,Then to analysis if there are any differences between this two groups about basic information and various laboratory parameters.Results(1)In 105 cases of Hui and 216 cases of Han patients, male genders are more(81.0%,72.7%,X2=2.603,P>0.05), the average age of Hui and Han groups are(63.21±11.824)?(64.74±11.030)years old respectively,The most common age is between 61-80 years old(65.7%?55.1%)respectively,there is no statistically significant difference between Hui and Han groups in age(X2=3.533,P>0.05);(2)The main clinical manifestations of two groups is upper abdominal pain(Hui:62.9%?Han:58.8%,X2=3.038,P>0.05),both groups are followed by difficult in swallow, melena and haematemesis, weight loss and fatigue?poor appetite, nausea and vomiting, abdominal mass;(3)The most common location is antrum angle among 321 cases of patients with gastric cancer(Hui:38.1%?Han:43.5%,X2= 2.995, p > 0.05);(4)The statistical analysis showed that poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma was most common of both groups about the grade of tumor differentiation(Hui:42.7%?Han:53.1%,X2=6.536,P>0.05);(5)About the most common ABO blood type classification of gastric cancer in both groups is type O(Hui:35.2%?Han:33.8%,X2=0.706,P>0.05),Two groups of patients who with a family history of gastric cancer were positive in 8 cases? 17 cases respectively(Hui:7.7%?Han:7.9%,X2=0.006,P>0.05),There were no statistically significant difference between Hui and Han groups in ABO blood type classification of family history;(6)The two groups of patients with gastric cancer who had history of drinking were 20 cases, 125 cases respectively, history of smoking were 15 cases?110 cases respectively,The difference was statistically significant between two groups;(7)The most common living place is Zhongwei?Yinchuan in Hui and Han groups respectively(48.6%?43.1%),This difference has statistically significant between two groups(X2=71.375,P<0.05);(9)The cases of Hp positive in Hui and Han groups were 21?49 cases respectively, negative cases are 79?151 respectively, Hp infection between the two groups has no significant difference(X2 = 0.457, P> 0.05);(10)The Meta analysis of two groups of patients with gastric cancer who infected with Hp of OR value is equal to 0.84(95%CI:0.73-0.96),P=0.01,so the Hp infection rate of gastric cancer from group Hui is lower than patients from group Han.But in the two communities the cardia gastric cancer, poorly differentiated and undifferentiated carcinoma proportion, the proportion of young patients(?40 years old) has no significant difference. Conclusion There is no significant differences between Hui and Han groups in age? sex?main complaint?disease location?histological type and grade?ABO blood type?family history?the proportion of poorly differentiated and undifferentiated carcinoma proportion?the number of young patients and cardia gastric cancer; the Hp infection rate of gastric cancer from group Hui is lower than patients from group Han,the history of smoking and drinking less than Han.
