Guo Lin New Qigong Breast Cancer Medical Records Collected Standardized Research

Guo Lin medical Qigong (GLMQ) was known as the" anti-cancer fitness exercise ", which was promoted by the Beijing Anti-cancer paradise over the years. It has been written in the New Century Medical College Textbooks-Chinese Qigong Science. Professor Tianjun Liu found that it’s necessary to further the Qigong clinical research in clinics, teaching and scientific research, and that a normative case record would effect as a basis. It was effective in cancer rehabilitation, and lots of case records in practice were collected. The case record research was the starting point for further study of GLMQ. Therefore, with the cooperation of Beijing anti-cancer paradise, a collection of normative research on the GLMQ case records was conducted.In view of numerous case records of breast cancer and its clear diagnosis and rehabilitation standard in western medicine, this study proposed the standard of collecting GLMQ case records and compared, researched on the existing case records of GLMQ, and demonstrated and expounded the standard from selecting GLMQ records of breast cancer and of modern case records, and the study of the standard of diagnosis and treatment.Two standards of GLMQ case record collection of breast cancer, including basic standard and high standards, were completed.The basic standard:1) diagnostic evidence:①At least two among the following items:diagnosis certificate or the first page of the case record, are needed:hospitalization record, hospital discharge record, operation record, supplied by hospitals at least Level II A.②Diagnostic "gold standard":the diagnosis of breast histopathology or cytopathology diagnosis.③Follow-up indicators:more than one item is needed among the following index:iconography or laboratory diagnostic indicators, ultrasound or CEA, CA125and CA153.2) Practice evidence:Practice records or practice of operating the program.3) Rehabilitation evidence:①Diagnostic "gold standard":the diagnosis of breast histopathology or cytopathology diagnosis.②More than one indicator or diagnostic follow-up indicators meets the criterion of "alleviated" or "be controlled".③The breast cancer rehabilitation re-examination ultrasound diagnosis or CEA, CA125and CA153achieved the criterion of "be controlled". (2)High standard:1) diagnostic evidence:①All of the following items are needed:diagnosis certificate or the first page of the case record, are needed:hospitalization record, hospital discharge record, operation record, supplied by hospitals at least Level II A.②Diagnostic "gold standard":the diagnosis of breast histopathology or cytopathology.③Follow-up indicators:all of the items are needed among the following index:iconography or laboratory diagnostic indicators, ultrasound, X-ray, molybdenum target, CT scan, MRI examination, nuclide examination and laboratory markers, including CEA, CA125, CA153, CA199, CA50and etc.2) Practice evidence:Practice records, practice of operating plan, Qigong exercises checked records, diary of practice of Qigong.3) Rehabilitation evidence:①Diagnostic "gold standard":the diagnosis of breast histopathology or cytopathology diagnosis.②The indicators were the same as the follow-up ones in diagnostic evidence. More than one indicator or diagnostic follow-up indicators meet the efficacy criteria of "alleviated" or "be controlled": the breast cancer rehabilitation re-examination indicators, including ultrasound, X-ray, molybdenum target, CT scan, MRI examination, nuclide examination and laboratory markers, including CEA, CA125, CA153, CA199and CA50, achieved the criteria of "effective".②and diagnostic follow-up indicators of a number of indicators meet the criterion of "effective" or "be controlled"(SD).③The Karnofsky score, the evaluation score of life quality testing (LQT) or the general condition, achieved the criterion of "better".It can be concluded that GLMQ breast cancer case records meet the basic standard, but do not achieve the high standard. It is because the evidence of Qigong practice, rehabilitation, the diagnostic can’t meet the high standard. In summary, this study was the starting point for GLMQ to research thoroughly and normatively. It can be a basis and it is meaningful to collect and accumulate case records of other diseases or other Qigong schools comprehensively and normatively.
