Objective: To analyze the influencing factors of sepsis caused by extensive burn patients with deep venous catheter and provide a reference value to reduce the occurrence of sepsis for the patients. Methods: The detailed materials of 92 extensive burn patients with deep venous catheter were reviewed and analyzed, the clinic data of the patients with sepsis and without sepsis were compared, statistical software was used to analyze the data and with statistics, the single influencing factor associated with sepsis caused by extensive burn patients with deep venous catheter was confirmed, and the logistic regression analysis was used on the factors, the independent factors associated with sepsis caused by extensive burn patients with deep venous catheter were confirmed. Results: in the 92 cases, 26 patients suffered with sepsis, through the statistical processing on the clinic data of the two patients, we found 6 influencing factors that could cause sepsis for the patients with deep venous catheter, including deep vein catheter indwelling time(P < 0.05), punctured skin condition(P < 0.05), patient age(P < 0.05), intravenous infusion component(P < 0.05), the puncture site(P < 0.05), burn area(P < 0.05), which were not related to patient's sex(P > 0.05). It is concluded by using a logistic regression to analyze the influencing factors that deep vein catheter indwelling time and burn area are the independent factors that cause sepsis. Conclusion: the influencing factors causing sepsis by extensive burn patients with deep venous catheter are more, clinicians should fully consider the influencing factors that cause sepsis by deep venous catheter while treating extensive burn patients with deep venous catheter, timely take effective preventive measures, minimizing the occurrence of sepsis for patients and avoiding the prognosis impact on patients.
