Objetives To explore the influence of s IL-1 RAP level to postoperative survival time and prognosis of glioma patients via examine the expression of s IL-1 RAP in cerebral gliomas tissue. And provide the basis for the diagnosis and prognosis of glioma.Methords Seventy-two glioma tumor samples were selected as research objects, who had taken the operation to remove the tumor tissue radically from June, 2013 to Jan, 2015 in neurosurgery of Beijing Tiantan hospital. And the relative normal tissue without preoperative chemotherapy and radiation served as control group. Immunohistochemistry assay and western blot were used to analysis the expression of s IL-1 RAP protein.Patients were followed to observe their prognosis and survival time. SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis, measurement data using analysis of variance while counting information using chi-square test.Results 1 The results of immunohistochemistry showed that the positive rate of sIL-1RAP was 100%, including 52.78% samples with high level expression of s IL-1 RAP,which was negatively expressed in control group(P<0.001). 2 The positive rate of s IL-1 RAP in low degree glioma, I and II degrees(56.25%), was higher than that in high degree glioma, II and IV degrees group(29.17%)(P<0.05). 3 The higher expression level of SIL-1RAP in low degree glioma than that in high degree glioma were extensively examined by Western blot(P<0.05). 4 The survival time of patients with low level of s IL-1RAP was 15.35 months, which was lower than the 22.42 months of patients high low level of s IL-1RAP(P < 0.001). 5 The poor prognosis in low-expressed s IL-1RAP patients were 3.9 times of that in high-expressed s IL-1RAP patients. 6 The low level of s IL-1RAP was correlated with short survival time and poor prognosis of glioma patients.Result SIL-1RAP may play an important role in the postoperative survival time and prognosis of glioma patient and the down-regulation of s IL-1RAP resulted in short survival time and poor prognosis.
