Laparoscopy has been widely used to perform abdominal surgeries, as it is advantageous in that the patients experience lower post-surgical trauma, shorter convalescence, and less pain as compared to traditional surgery. Laparoscopic surgeries require that surgeons should have good skills; therefore, it is imperative to train surgeons to reduce the risk of operation. Virtual laparoscopic system offer a highly realistic surgical environment by using virtual reality technology, and it can improve the training efficiency of laparoscopic surgery.In this paper, the design and implementation of the system were done according to the requirements of virtual laparoscopic surgery training system. This paper presents a virtual Laparoscopic surgery system based on Visible Chinese Human(VCH). The research content is as follows:(1) The functions and features of instruments and organs were abstracted into modules. This can improve the reuse of functionality and extensibility of system.(2) The scene organization and management module was designed and constructed, which could help users to manage the resources and build surgical training scenarios quickly.(3) The finite state machine is used to implement the management of the operation process and state based on the analysis of the process.(4) Through the graphical user interface and integration of the manipulator to realize the interaction with the system.(5) The proposed virtual laparoscopic training system offers two kinds of training mode, skills training and surgery training.The proposed system has strong sense of reality and high reusability. The system can improve the training efficiency and save the cost of training. Student can practice the actual operation to improve the level of surgical skills. |
