[Purpose]In essence, facial aesthetic standards of the regional surface characteristic are coordinated.The work of dental prosthesis, prosthesis and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery and other disciplines relies on those universal facial aesthetics law. Among the many characteristic parameters of surface in the face, distance of the line and angle of the face are easy get in the clinic, and the effect of treatment is also very obvious. So far, there are many researches on face common line distance, angle of comparative study of different regions and nations both at home and abroad, most of which reported their proportion, averages and standard deviation results, but the facial lines distance, angle,rare statistical study of correlation between reported.This study aimed to scan of Xi'an Han young facial and measure their facial lines distance and angle using stereoscopic photography. To statistical analyse of the correlation between initial correlation of the facial lines, angles and formulas, and to morphological study also provide a more accurate and practical method.[Methods]Subjects are selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria signedinformed consent with the requirements of the fourth Military Medical University Oral Cavity Hospital Ethics Committee..United States 3d MD(3d MD Face System) scanner was used to capture head and face information, point and measure in the selected images. Select the two endpoints of the line in the table, and calculate the straight line distance of the line. Then the form of line distance result is derived. Angle measurement method is similar. Using SPSS19.0statistical analysis of the results, we calculated the correlation between the distance and angle of the line of the angle, and calculated correlation regression formula.[Result]We get about more than 150 indicators showing strong correlations(p ? 0.7) by the Pearson correlation test. Although not all indicators has good clinical value, it proves that there is a certain correlation between the various indicators, and the correlations take the form of coordination of our everyday facial appearance, which more accurately than the simple proportion.Among those indicators from glabella, trilateral formed by glabella to pronasale,glabella to subnasal, and glabella to upper lip edge point, quadrilateral formed by glabella to pronasale, glabella to subnasal, glabella to upper lip edge point, and galbella to stomion,pentagon formed by glabella to pronasale, glabella to subnasal, glabella to upper lip edge point, galbella to stomion, and galbella to cheilion, those have something to do with 12 quotas.The result of sub-galbella which we self-defined is parallel except the line form sub-galbella to upper lip edge point.Lines from nasion to pronasale, subnasale, sub-galbella to upper lip edge point and nalal alar crest all have some relationship with trilateral, quadrilateral and pentagon mentioned before. Segments from nasion form trilateral which is very useful to deduce the normal morphology of nasal.In index of the lips, there are three lines, subnasale to the stonion, subnasal to the lower lip edge points and subnasal to the upper lip edge points have relationship between each other.Vertical distance is very important in facial plastic, and full mouth denture repair.There is high correlation between vertical distance with line from subnasal to upper lip edge point, stomoin, pogonion and so on. It is different from our original awareness that maxillofacial is trisection by glabella and subnasal. All we got is the statistical figures is value close for crowd, and uncertain for individual.The fact of less correlation between the widths of the face note that width of the face for people of different face shapes are quite different.In addition, there is no clear correlation between data that values are same.[Conclusions]There is a close relation between facial morphological traits by correlation test. And these associations work together to create a coordinated, normal appearance. After detailed analysis of correlation between these results, those correlations grouped with clinical applications, which can guide our clinical work. Some of them showed no strong correlation, which is different from the traditional concept. We need further research on those differences for the research limited by the number of subject, nationality and ethnicity.The aim of this study is to verify the scientificity and practicability of relevance test in analysis of the facial morphology. Correlation test is more accurate and more convenient in clinical application compared with previous studies using value and standard deviation, and the results are more in line with the biological requirements...
