| Objective:To analyse the clinical manifestations of neurosyphilis patientsin fujian province and the related auxiliary examination results, and study the clinical features of neurosyphilis, in order to achieve early diagnosis and early treatment, thus enhance the cure rate and quality of life. Methods:Retrospectively analysed the clinical date of 113 cases with neurosyphilis admitted in our hospital from JAN,2002 to DEC,2015. Results:1.There were84(74.3%)males and 29(25.7%)females with neurosyphilis. Clinical classification include: asymptomatic neurosyphilis(3.5%),syphilitic meningitis(10.6%),meningovacular syphilis(8.8%),generalparesis(61.9%),tabes dorsalis(12.4%) and mixed type(2.7%).2.The symptoms of neurosyphilis was variant, which were as follows: mental disorder and cognitive decline(62.9%),weakness of limbs(14.2%),sensory disturbance(11.5%),language barriers(11.5%),dizziness or headache(8.8%),fever(2.7%),seizures(9.7%),disorder of defecate or urinate(6.2%),ataxia(10.6%),and the performance of the associated with cranial nerve damage(7.1%).3.The overall positive rates of CSF-RPR and CSF-TRUST were 78.4% and 88.0%,respectively. CSF pleocytosis and elevated CSF protein were found in 85.8% and 73.5% patients,respectively. 64.6% of patients CSF white blood cells and protein increased at the same time.4.Neurosyphilis imaging is multiple, widely distributed, scattered lesions, characterized by brain atrophy,leukoencephalopathy,encephalitis, ischemic focal or lacunar infarction. Electroencephalogram examination is nonspecific. Conclusion:Neurophysilis is mainly in the young and middle-aged menin fujian province.The essence neurosyphilis is the main type of neurosyphilis in fujian province, especially the generalparesis.The clinical manifestations of neruosyphiliS are complex.And the diagnosis of neurosyphilis should be made according to the combination of clinical manifestations,laboratory tests,and imageological evidences.Penicillin treatment is effective. |
