Objectives To explore the efficacy of levosimendan treatment among patients with acute left heart failure.MethodsFrom February 2014 to December 2015, 391 patients with acute heart failure in Fujian Provincial Hospital were selected. And there were 216 patients treated with levosimendan while 175 patients did not treated with levosimendan. The clinical data, including symptoms, signs, laboratory results and indices of UCG have been collected. Results 1.Among patientswith acute left heart failure, estimated glomerular filtration rate(e GFR) and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were higher, while the level of N-Terminal pro-B-type Natriuretic Peptide was lower after levosimendan administration(P<0.05). 2. Among patientswith heart failure-reduced ejection fraction(HF-REF),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and systolic peak velocities of mitral annuluswere higher, while the level of N-Terminal pro-B-type Natriuretic Peptide was lower after levosimendan administration(P<0.05). 3.Among patientswith heart failure-preserved ejection fraction(HF-PEF), the level of creatinine was lower in patients treated with levosimendan compared with those patients who did not treated with levosimendan(P<0.05). LVEF was higher, while the left ventricular end-diastolic volume, left atrial diameter were lower after levosimendan administration(P<0.05).Conclusions1.Among patients with acute left heart failure, levosimendan may enhance the systolic function of left ventricle and reduce the cardiac load. 2. Among patients with HF-REF, levosimendan may relieve the cardiac load through improving the systolic and diastolic function of left ventricle.3. Among patients with HF-PEF, levosimendan may enhance the systolic function of left ventricle.
