Objective:By analyzing the 23 cases which used MTA to treat injured immature permanent teeth, and further observed the treatment effect of immature permanent teeth trauma, provide some clinical evidence for the effectiveness of MTA in the treatment area. Methods:Collect 23 patients with immature permanent teeth traumas who had received treatment at the Periodontics Department of Shanxi Medical University Stomatological Hospital from June 2014 to September 2015.(1) Inclusion criteria: teeth: maxillary anterior teeth; traumatic time:development of immature permanent teeth; visiting time:patients within72 hours after the trauma exposed pulp, 72 hours to 1 week, and long-term trauma caused pulp necrosis; X-ray periapical films: nallo tooth development 9, may be associated with periapical low-density image;(2)Exclusion criteria: X-ray periapical films:display image root fracture,if not observed root fracture image, after informed consent of patients, shooting CBCT image display root frature.(3) Treatment:exposed pulp trauma patients within 72 hours of treatment, using partial pulpotomy with MTA,exposed pulp trauma patients within 72 hours to 1 week, using all pulpotomy with MTA,patients with long-term trauma caused pulp necrosis, using apical barriers with MTA.(4)Referral time:after one month, three months, six months;(5)Referral contents: partial pulpotomy: percussion, pulp vitality tests, X-ray observation of apical root tip sheet whether to continue development; all pulpotomy: percussion, X-ray observation of apical root tip sheet whether to continue development; apical barriers: X-ray periapical observewhether the apical calcified barrier is formed, and the restoration of periapical tissue.(6)Analyze and summarize above information. Results:By treating 23 cases of traumatic immature permanent teeth with MTA effectively, after one month, three months, six months, 9 patients are re-examined after receiving pulpotomy, one patient feel apical percussion pain, among the patients who received partial pulpotomy, one case of pulp vitality tests is unresponsive, X-ray indicates 9patients' root continue to grow; 14 patients received apical barriers and later 11 patients feel the apical percussion pain disappears, and X-ray showed 14 cases of apical barrier have formed; among the 6 patients with periapical tissue lesions, 6 cases of apical fistula were not completely disappeared, X-ray showed 5 cases of apical shadow area is reduced, and one patient's apical shadow disappeared. Conclusion:By observing treatment effect with MTA of 23 cases of immature permanent anterior teeth with different traumatic situation, combined literatures, further confirmed the conclusion of the role of MTA and the positive effect by reviewing literatures.
