Comparative Study On Short-term Efficacy Between Laparoscopic And Open Radical Resection For Rectal Cancer(Dixon)

Objective: Contrast laparoscopic and open radical resection for rectal cancer(Dixon) in short-term efficacy in Qinghai.Methods: Using the method of retrospective analysis, we chose two groups of pations from October 2014 to December 2015 hospitalized in Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital gastrointestinal tumor surgery,in which one of them received laparoscopic Dixon operation,while another group received laparotomy during the same period, we compare indicators of two groups in time of operation, blood loss,time of placing a urinary catheter, recovery time of gastrointestinal tract, postoperative hospital stay, number of cleaned lymph nodes, the postoperative complications, distance between tumor to the distant cut edge,the length of specimen.Results: There are no difference between the two groups of patients in age, gender, tumor location, and preoperative tumor staging,operations in two groups are smoothly implemented.The following index was statistically difference: The operation time(280.45±67.46 min vs198.25±60.88 min,P<0.05), blood loss(127.20±61.78 ml vs200.50±58.24 ml,P<0.05), time of placing a urinary catheter(3.10±2.02 d vs5.48±4.88 d,P<0.05), the recovery time of gastrointestinal tract(2.60±0.93 d vs2.93±1.06 d,P<0.05),indwelling time of drainage tube. The following indicators have no statistical difference: postoperative hospital stay(14.34±6.62 d vs15.82±5.73,P>0.05), the postoperative complications(3 ? vs6 ?,P>0.05), the specimen length(16.30±4.01 cm vs18.38±5.41,P>0.05), distance between tumor to the distant cut edge( 3.1±1.2vs3.4±1.1, P > 0.05),number of cleaned lymph node(10.2±3.6vs11.3±6.9,P>0.05).Conclusion : Laparoscopic operations of Dixon have advantages of smaller trauma, less blood loss, they also have shorter recovery time in gastrointestinal tract function,bladder function and drainage tube,at the same time laparoscopy approach is epual to open approach in the aspects of postoperative complications, range of the lesion resection, the total number of lymph node that had been cleaned.
