Objective 1.In the experiment, the object is to investigate the ability that Carisolv ? gel removed the smeear layer from the root canal system by the Scanning electron microscopy.Whether it is more effective combined with 0.5%Na Cl O.2.To research the influences on what Carisolv ? gel have the performance of root canal sealer-AH Plus used in clinical commonly. Methods 1.One hundred human teeth extracted were randomly divided into five groups.Root canal were prepared with step-back method, and five different fluids were used to irrigate the root canal during the process of the preparation.Ten samples were selected randomly from each group, and examined the amount of smear layer and erosion on the surface of the root canal walls with the scanning electron microscope.2.Ten trace samples of each group were filled their roots with cold guttapercha lateral condensation method and detected the amount of root canal micro-leakage with glucose filtration analysis. Results 1.The cleaning of root canal walls using Carisolv ? gel combined with 0.5%Na Cl O was better than the Carisolv ? or 0.5%Na Cl O alone, and the structure of dentinal tubules is intact;the Smear layer of samples in the positive control group is removed completely, but the structure of dentinal tubules are destroyed in the group.2.Statistics showed that the situation which AH Plus sael the root canal that Carisolv? gel combined with 0.5% NaClO rinse off i s better than the other groups. Conclusions 1.Carisolv ? gel can remove the smear layer, and combined with 0.5%Na Cl O solution as a root canal irrigation fluid can remove effectively the smear layer.2.Carisolv ? gel has no significant adverse effect to the performance of AH Plus.
