Objective:For varicocele- this is a common male disease, observe the highlighted by surgical treatment after preoperative abnormal semen analysis report(including less sperm and weak sperm and the sperm malformation), postoperative sperm quality improvement, and discuss the etiology, clinical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment, in order to improve the clinical physician for the understanding and diagnosis and treatment.Methods:Retrospective analysis in January 2013 to August 2015, the first affiliated hospital of fujian medical university were analyzed the clinical data of 346 patients with VC, and follow-up from May 2013 to April 2014 to infertility cases admitted to hospital patients, preoperative abnormal semen analysis report(including less sperm and weak sperm and the sperm malformation), and in postoperative 3 months review sperm quality(abstinence days 3 to 7 days), and through the comprehensive collection of Chinese and English medical literature retrieval system and selection, combined with 3 cases of varicocele without other diseases typical cases, analysis of published in Chinese and English literature at home and abroad.Results: Group on the left side of the VC, a total of 234 cases of patients, bilateral VC, a total of 112 cases, no single on the right side of the VC patients. Under the age of 18, 53 patients, 19 to 30 years old, 209 cases of patients, 84 patients with 30 years of age or older. Line of spermatic vein high ligation patients 148 cases, 193 patients with microscope spermatic vein ligation, line 5 patients with laparoscopic ligation of spermatic vein. In May 2013 to April 2014 infertility as chief complaint of 100 cases of hospitalized patients, 39 cases of complete additional drug treatment, postoperative follow-up data contrast these patients with preoperative and postoperative 3 months of sperm quality(abstinence days for 3 to 7 days). 16 of whom underwent high ligation of the patients, 10 cases of postoperative 3 months review before sperm quality is improved, and routine microscope ligation of spermatic vein of patients, 20 cases of postoperative 3 months review earlier improve sperm, 1 underwent laparoscopic ligation of spermatic vein of patients, postoperative review sperm from the previous 3 months to improve. The typical cases, 2 cases of patients with abnormal sperm quality, sperm quality improved after 3 months; 1 case of scrotal pain clinic patients, the symptoms were improved.Conclusion: Under a microscope and spermatic vein ligation improve sperm quality in three months after surgery, compared with the spermatic vein high ligation has better curative effect, laparoscopic ligation of spermatic vein because of the small number of cases a lack of statistical significance.
