Objective: This thesis summarizes 16 clinic cases of treating patients with pemphigus using glucocorticoid, to explore a better method of using glucocorticoid for treating pemphigus.Methods: Collecting 16 patients with pemphigus who was newly diagnosed in Department of oral mucosa of Xiamen City stomatological hospital from March 2014 to May 2014. Their living tissue pathologic examination results and clinical signs are in accordance with the diagnostic criteria of pemphigus. All of them are provided glucocorticoid as the main medicine, and supplemented by: calcium carbonate chewable tablets and vitamin D for the prevention of osteoporosis, sucralfate for the protecting of gastric mucosa, potassium chloride zyban for the preventive potassium supplement, 3% Na HCO3 collutory for the preventing of the candida albicans infection, gargles with Kangfuxin solution for the NSAIDs,inunction of b FGF inhibitor for promoting of lesion healing, and combining anti-bacterial infection treatment if necessary. Then preliminary evaluate the treatmenteffects.Results: 1. Lesions of all 16 patients are faded away and disappear.( 5 cases of patients withdrawal, 11 cases of patients' dosage reduced to 10mg/d.) 2. Dosage of glucocorticoid needed for controlling the states of illness: initial dosage of all 16 cases are the same, 2 case of 80mg/d Prednisone, 11 cases of between 60~80mg/d, 3 cases of between 40~60mg/d. 3. Complicating diseases of treatments: 13 cases of central obesity, 5 cases of folliculitis, 1 case of headache, 1 case of osteoporosis, 4 cases of abnormal hyperglycemia, 1 case of elevated liver enzymes.Conclusion: The choices of initial dosage of glucocorticoid and the programs of reducing medicine amount, and the strategy of using azathioprine in this study are available as reference for clinicians.
