Objective Study on the maxillary anterior teeth the Bite Ramp Splint under the action of a stress situation with the three-dimensional finite element method, analysising the displacement trends of th maxillary anterior teeth, in order to provide a theoretical basis for its clinical application on deebite correction.Method Used CT scanners, Mimics software, Geomagic software, Pro/E software to establish the three-dimensional model of the mandible, the Bite Ramp Splint, constructed its finite elements grid model by the finite element method, established the mandibular and maxillary occlusion model bonding the Bite Ramp Splint, and then analysis the displacement trends of maxillary and dentition under the effect of the Bite Ramp Splint, the strains and displacement trends of root apical third, middle third, root canal in anterior teeth 12-22.Result The maximum displacement trends was about 1.1658mm; There were displacement in upward, outward, to the right of 21 and 22. Mechanical analysis of calculation results show that the strongest strains and displacement trends exist in root crown of maxillary anterior teeth, the displacement trends is about 0.1-0.19mm; Displacement is mainly reflected in the root of the root crown, and in the root middle third is middle, and the differential displacement in root middle and crown on 11-21 is smallest;the displacemet in root apical third is bout 0.07-0.1mm with the smallest strains. Conclusion Finite Element Method is an effective method for analysis of strains structure, because it can draw the three-dimensional strains and displacement field of all the model points directly. Our experiment established the three-dimensional model applying the Bite Ramp Splint of the mandibular and maxillary by using finite element method concluded that under the bite force the Bite Ramp Splint can lead the maxillary anterior teeth to lips, but the displacement is less, and the displacement can stable when <1.2mm.The displacement of the maxillary anterior teeth is in root crown, while the root apical third cann't move who has a less action and promote the growth of the mandible. The Bite Ramp Splint can open the bite treated effectively and has less stimulus to the front of the maxillary anterior teeth in terms of move to lips than traditional splint. By Finite Element Method we found that The Bite Ramp Splint can retain the teeth in vertical and prevent the recurrence of deebite effectively.
