| Objective:To compare the clinical curative effects between the Jinguishenqi Pill and the modified prescription on the treatment of patients with diabetic nephropathy stage IV.Methods:Select 72 patients diagnosed with diabetic nephropathy stage IV, and divide them randomly into a treatment group and a control group of 36 patients, which were treated with the Modified Jinguishenqi Pill and Jinguishenqi Pill respectively on the premise of basic therapy. After 8 weeks, we observed and analyzed the differences of TCM syndromes and experimental index changes between the treatment group and the control group.Result:(1)The effective rates of the treatment group and the control group are 76.67% and 46.67% respectively.(2)The treatment group takes advantage over the control group in balancing TSM syndromes.(3)The values of two groups of postprandial 2 hours blood glucose(PBG), fasting blood glucose(FBG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) all decreased after therapies, the PBG comparison between the treatment group and the control group doesn’t have statistical significance; the FBG decreasing degree of the treatment group is greater than the control group which is statistically significant; the HbA1 c decreasing degree of the treatment group has strengths over that of the control group.(4)The 24 h urinary protein quantity has been improved after both of the therapies, and the comparison between them has statistical significance.(5)Compared to the indexes before therapies, the values of two groups of blood urea nitrogen(BUN), Serum creatinine(Scr) all decreased markedly and endogenous creatinine clearance rate(Ccr) increased markedly after therapies, while the treatment group gains advantage over the control group. Conclusion:In contrast with the original prescription, the modified prescription can more significantly improve clinical symptoms of the patients with diabetic nephropathy stage IV, and make more contributions to maintain the stability of blood sugar, reduce urine protein and delay the deterioration of renal function. |
