| Objective : This research is to evaluate the clinical curative effect of treating Pneumonia-related sepsis with Qingwenbaidu Yin and Dachengqi Tang, Which is in the early stage(syndrome of toxic heat inside,syndrome of blood stasis poison resistance inside) and analyze its mechanism of action, in order to exploring a new way for the treatment of sepsis with the combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine.Methods: The research was performed 60 Pneumonia-related Sepsis patients from April 2015 to April 2016 at the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM. They were randomly divided into the test group(30 cases,treated with common western medicine therapy)and the contrast group(30 cases,treated with common western medicine therapy and the traditional Chinese medicine Qingwenbaidu Yin and Dachengqi Tang). Within 24 h and Day 7 after the treatment, we recorded the APACHE Ⅱ score, the investigated parameters, total score of TCM syndromes and every individual symptom. All data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0.Results: 7 days later, we analyzed test group compared with contrast group, which was significant difference(P<0.05).APACHEⅡ score, WBC, PCT, CRP and total score of TCM syndromes are all decreased, Compared with contrast group, there were significant difference(P<0.05 or P<0、01), every individual symptom has significant difference(P < 0.01).Conclusions: Qingwenbaidu Yin and Dachengqi Tang combined with normal western medicine has good effect at treating the patients with Pneumonia-related Sepsis. |
