From the point of view of philology,this paper studies several aspects of Ke Qin, including his life-time and works, origin of his academic thoughts,academic thoughts characteristics,clinical experience and his affects on later physicians.This paper is based on philology study methods.Started with Shanghan Laisu Ji, it has systematacially studied the related records of Ke's febrile academic thoughts, and hopes discuss the practical significance through discussing the continuation and development under the Febrile academic thoughts of Ke. His academic thoughts are mainly embodied in the following areas: Firstly, syndrome named by formulas, and syndrome differentiation and treatment. Secondly, refutation of “San Gang Ding Li”, and negation of “397 methods”. Thirdly, six meridians commanded by Yin and Yang, diseases commanded by six meridians. He put up with the theory of“Liujing Dimian”and theory of “Liujing Biaozheng.”The academic thoughts of KE has a profound influence on physicians of later generations. For instance, these thoughts have a more profound significance both in studying of Treatise on Febrile Diseases and clinical practice of classical prescription,including categorizing formulas to syndrome method of Xu Lingtai, corresponderence between prescriptions and syndromes of Ji Yi Dong Dong, and six meridians layer of Yu Genchu.This paper has systematacially combed Ke's typhoid academic thoughts and further improved academic thinking system of Treatise on Febrile Diseases on the one hand, and through discussing his academic thoughts,expects to provide reference for modern clinical and ideas on the other hand.
