A Preliminary Research On The Effects Of Electroacupuncture On Gastric Emptying Of Diabetes

Objective: To establish the range of scintigraphic gastric emptying and observe the effect of electroacupuncture in treating the gastric emptying dysfunction of diabetes and investigate whether He-Mu group is better than single point group.Methods: 1.To establish the range of gastric emptying on the bases of 50 healthy volunteers.2.To get diabetes receive SPECT of gastric emptying. The abnormal were randomly divided into two groups,and observe the changes of blood glucose, gastric emptying and GCSI score after the treatment.Results: Gastric retention ?7% at 180 min or T1/2? 50 minutes indicated delayed gastric emptying,while values ?22% at 30 min or 6% at 60 min was indicative of accelerated gastric emptying.Diabetes with normal, delayed and accelerated gastric emptying were 22(62.86%), 2(5.71%) and 11(31.43%) respectively. As for the gastrop-eresis,GCSI scores and gastric emptying were improved; as for the 11 cases of accelerate-d gastric emptying, the GCSI scores and gastric emptying were improved, maybe He-Mu group is better.Conclusions: The accelerated gastric emptying was more common than delayed in diabetes. Electroacupuncture could adjust the gastric emptying of diabetes in two direction, the He-Mu group may be better.
