Object: To investigate the clinical effect of arthroscopic treatment of rotator cuff injury. Methods: Retrospective analysis was used to treat 16 patients with rotator cuff injury by arthroscopy. The preoperative, postoperative function in patients with recovery, were observed and compared, according to University of California shoulder scoring system(University of California Los Angeles shoulder cores UCLA) scoring criteria and Constant-Mur ley score standard to evaluate the observed. Results: The average hospitalization time 12.69 d. The average operation time was 180 min, the patients were followed up for 1 month. The 10 patients can be normal shoulder joint flexion, rotation and other functions, weak strength; 5 cases of patients with rotator cuff injury severity and the combination with other injuries of shoulder joint flexion, rotation and other functions, poor muscle strength; 1 patient due to a car accident, muscle stiffness, the activity is poor, it is recommended strengthening exercises and rehabilitation therapy. After 3 months follow-up, 10 cases of patients with normal activity, muscle strength can be; 5 cases of patients with active function, muscle strength can be; 1 cases of patients with active function, weak muscle strength. At 6 months follow-up, 1 cases of patients with accident, late functional exercise late, can't be any activity, muscle strength. All the other patients had normal function and muscle strength. Some patients were followed up for 12 months. The function of the patients was good, and the muscle strength was normal. After 6 months of investigation and analysis, according to the UCLA score standard, among them, 10 cases were excellent, 6 cases were good. Ley Constant-Mur score standard, excellent in 14 cases, good in 2 cases. Conclusion: Patient satisfaction and positive high, and the postoperative recovery is good, get satisfactory effect. Arthroscopic rotator cuff injury treatment, small incision, small wound surface, convenient fixed position, convenient postoperative dressing, wound repair, less bleeding, postoperative infection rate is low, benefit for early functional exercise. Patient satisfaction and acceptance is high, postoperative recovery was good, obtained satisfactory results.
