Objective To explore the renal pelvis, calyces and renal sinus anatomic structure and the relationship between each other and finding a certain regularity provide the anatomical basis for treatment the kidney diseases and provide reference data for developing urinary system equipment.Methods To select patients who own normal renal function and need to abdominal CT enhanced scan without kidney disease as study participants.Using the VR, MIP and MPR technique to accomplish 3 d reconstruction.Observe renal pelvis and calyces filling conditions on VR3-D image,and then evaluate the renal pelvis and calyces filling conditions, if filling degree were greater than or equal to 8 points as the measurement object. Observe renal pelvis and calyces form on VR images. Measuring renal pelvis and calyces on MIP images.Measuring renal sinus and renal door on MPR images.using SPSS19.0 statistical software to finish statistical analysis.? = 0.05 as the inspection level, ?<0.05 statistically significant, ?< 0.01 there are statistically significant differences.Results 1.Renal pelvis parting type, the proportion of innertype,middle type and outer type were 69.0%, 26.2% and 4.8%, the left kidney and the right kidney in distribution have no statistical difference(p = 0.812).2.Renal pelvis development form,the proportion of ampulla,embryos, branch and spider foot were 92.9%, 2.8%, 3.2% and 1.1%, the left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference in distribution(p = 0.129).3.Renal pelvis points light diameter,left kidney was 13.56 ± 4.05 mm, right kidney was 13.65 ± 4.07 mm, the left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference(p = 0.780),the men and women have no statistical difference(p = 0.070).4.Ureteropelvic junction(UPJ)diameter,left kidney was 4.35 ± 1.22 mm, right kidney was 4.22 ± 1.23 mm, the left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference(p = 0.318),the men and women have no statistical difference(p = 0.425).5.The type of large calyces, the proportion of three lamp type,two lamp type and special type were 59.9%, 38.1% and 2.0%,the left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference(p = 0.407).6.The neck length of large calyces,the upper calyces, left was 18.98± 5.32 mm, right was 18.49 ± 4.94 mm, the middle calyces, left was 9.21± 4.72 mm, right was 9.06 ± 3.80 mm,the lower calyces, left was 14.10 ±3.40 mm, right was 13.94 ± 3.30 mm, the left kidney and right kidneyhave no statistical difference(p > 0.05), men and women have no statistical difference(p>0.05).7.The neck wide of large calyces,the upper calyces, left was 4.30 ±1.96 mm, right was 4.83 ± 2.28 mm, the middle calyces,left was 4.38 ±2.81 mm, right was 4.39 ± 2.66 mm, the lower calyces,left was 6.11 ±2.77 mm, right was 6.54 ± 2.76 mm, the left kidney and right kidney have statistical difference(p< 0.05), the men and women have statistical difference(p< 0.05).8.The number of small calyces, left kidney was 9.78 ± 1.96, right kidney was 9.63 ± 2.14, the left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference(p = 0.081), the men and women have no statistical difference(p = 0.079).9.The neck type of small calyces,the proportion of all neck type,half neck type and without neck type were 75.0%, 2.9% and 22.1%, the left kidney and right kidney have statistical difference(p < 0.01).10.The face type of small calyces,the proportion of concave type and heave type were 85.2% and 14.8%.The neck position of small calyces,the proportion of center type and skew type were 67.5% and 32.5%.the left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference(p>0.05).11.The face diameter of small calyces, left kidney was 6.37 ± 1.40 mm, right kidney was 6.53 ± 1.40 mm. The neck diameter of small calyces, left kidney was 4.67 ± 1.37 mm, right kidney was 4.82 ± 1.40 mm. The left kidney and right kidney have statistical difference(p < 0.05),the male and female have statistical difference(p < 0.05).12.The neck length of small calyces, left kidney was 5.39 ± 1.36 mm,right kidney was 5.37 ± 1.53 mm.The angle of small calyces of face and neck,left kidney was 91.75 ± 5.71 °, right kidney was 91.31 ± 6.66 °.The left kidney and right kidney have no statistical difference(p>0.05), the men and women have no statistical difference(p>0.05).13.The length of renal sinus, left kidney was 58.40 ± 9.23 mm, right kidney was 55.05 ± 9.06 mm.The wide of renal sinus, left kidney was17.81 ± 4.69 mm, right kidney was 17.27 ± 4.84 mm.The thickness of renal sinus, left kidney was 15.44 ± 6.56 mm, right kidney was 12.35 ±4.15 mm. the left kidney and right kidney have statistical difference(p <0.05), the men and women have statistical difference(p < 0.05).14.The depth of renal sinus, left kidney was 34.90 ± 4.59 mm, right kidney was 35.29 ± 5.35 mm. The height of renal door, left kidney was26.46 ± 7.27 mm, right kidney was 22.86 ± 6.32 mm. The left kidney and right kidney have statistical difference(p < 0.05), the men and women have statistical difference(p < 0.05).15.The length of upper,middle and lower large calyces have associated with the length of small calyces,the relevance and P values were respectively(r = 0.351, p < 0.01),(r = 0.312, p < 0.01) and(r =0.195, p < 0.01).16.The length of upper,middle and lower large calyces have associated with the length of renal sinus,the relevance and P values were respectively(r = 0.278, p < 0.01),(r = 0.133, p< 0.01) and(r = 0.272, p <0.01).17.The length of upper,middle and lower large calyces have associated with the wide of small calyces,the relevance and P values were respectively(r = 0.449, p< 0.01),(r = 0.481, p< 0.01) and(r = 0.459, p<0.01).18.The number of small calyces have associated with surface diameter, neck wide and neck high,the relevance and P values were respectively(r =-0.183, p < 0.01),(r =-0.175, p < 0.01),(r =-0.156, p <0.01),and without face and neck angle(r =-0.017, p = 0.727).Conclusion 1.Renal pelvis parting type and development form,the left kidney and right kidney have no difference, no difference between different genders.2.Renal pelvis points light diameter and Ureteropelvic junction diameter, the left kidney and right kidney have no difference, no difference between different genders.3.The neck wide of large calyces,the right kidney is wider than left,the women is wider than men.The neck length of large calyces,the left kidney and right kidney have no difference, no difference between different genders.4.The face wide and neck wide of small calyces,the right kidney is wider than left, the women is wider than men.The number,neck hight,the face and neck angle of small calyces,the left kidney and right kidney have no difference, no difference between different genders.5.The size of renal sinus and the hight of renal door,the men is bigger than women, the left kidney is bigger than right kidney. The depth of renal sinus, the men is depth than women, no difference between the left kidney and right kidney.6.There is positive correlation between large calyces and small calyces on length and wide diameter.There is negative correlation between the number of small calyces and the face diameter,neck wide or neck hight.
