Objective:In order to survey the specific protein involved in nasopharyngeal carcinoma,the expression of SAA protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues was detected by Western-Blotting at protein level,the result of the researgch may be helpful to invent new drugs against the target for the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods:From March 2014 to December 2015,78 cases tissues had been collected in Otolaryngology department of the first affiliated hospital of University of south China,Incorporating 38 cases of Nasopharyngeal mucosa tissues and 40 cases of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues.According to the pathological results,31 in Nasopharyngeal carcinoma group showed Angle of differentiation of carcinoma,and 9 showed Differentiated non cornification carcinoma,12 from the patients of Angle of differentiation of carcinoma had lympho node metastasis.Detecting the expression of SAA protein by using Western Blotting technology in the 78 cases,and drawing box plots by software of Graphpad Prism 5 on the base of the results,and Using Wilcoxon W test to analyse the statistical significance of the research by SPASS18.0 software.Results:1.There was SAA protein in both nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue and nomal nasopharyngeal tissue.2.there was much more SAA protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma group than nomal nasopharyngeal group.The difference is statistically significant(One sided test P=0.000<0.05,Z=-7.597).3. The SAA protein had a higher expression in neck lymph node metastasis group than no neck lymph node metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma group.The difference is statistically significant(One sided test P=0.001<0.05,Z=-3.394).4.The expression of SAA protein did not a difference in different pathological type( two-sided test P=0.528>0.05,Z=-0.632).Conclusion:1.There was SAA protein in both nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue and nomal nasopharyngeal tissue, however much more SAA protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue than nomal nasopharyngeal tissue.2.The SAA protein had a higher expression in neck lymph node metastasis than no neck lymph node metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma,and there was not a difference in different pathological type of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
