Objective To explore the value of gemstone spectral imaging(GSI)with single source dual—energy CT in characterizing the benign and malignant solitary pulmonary nodules.phase III enhanced CT scan using single source dual-energy CT by GSI mode,include 23 males and 9 females,Age range 33-72 years old,the average age is 58 years old,Nodule size range 1.6-3cm,an average of 2.8cm,The study of cases,malignant nodules in 19 cases,including 13 cases of adenocarcinoma,6 cases of squamous cell carcinoma,benign nodules in 13 cases,including two cases of tuberculosis,5cases of hamartoma,four cases of sclerosing hemangioma,2 cases inflammatory pseudotumor.All patients were disease surgery and pathology after biopsy.All tests were carried out on gemstone spectrum CT.After the scan complete,the singe-energy imaging spectroscopy image loading gems browser(GSI viewer)software,Three types of images were reconstructed for analysis:the water concentration(WC),iodine concentration(IC),and normalized iodine concentration(NIC).Obtain the corresponding CT value in 40 ke V conditions,Independent samples t test and analysis of variance was used for statistical analysis.Result Benign and malignant solitary pulmonary nodules in 40 keV standard CT,standard iodine concentration and water content values in the standard normality tests are in line with the normal distribution,the group selected in two independent samples t test.Different types of solitary pulmonary nodules in 40 ke V standard CT,standard iodine concentration and water content values using standard analysis of variance.Benign pulmonary nodules iodine-based content with malignant solitary difference was statistically significant,the content of water-based differences in benign and malignant solitary pulmonary nodules was not The IC of lung adenocarcinoma ? lung squamous cell carcinoma ? hamartoma ? sclerosing hemangioma?inflammatory pseudotumor is 11.66±2.72?12.36±2.97?10.20±3.11?16.58±3.58?21.67±3.76g/l,the IC of lung adenocarcinoma and lung squamous cell carcinoma were no significant,There was significant difference in the value of iodine material between other nodules.The WC of lung adenocarcinoma?lung squamous cell carcinoma?hamartoma?sclerosing hemangioma?inflammatory pseudotumor is1021.31±13.83?1027.98±12.53?1024.38±23.82?1004.62±12.65?1029.61±12.06?1051.61±13.81g/L,There was no significant difference in the value of water material between nodules.Conclusion:Different pathological types could determine different IC.(1)The spectral CT imaging may be helpful for characterizing the pathological type of solitary pulmonary nodules.(2)Spectrum curve by plotting solitary pulmonary nodules observed changes in CT values under different Kev and out of shape trends can be distinguished,such as fat and iodine density material for some special...
