| Along with the coming gradually of aging society in China, patients with Parkinson’s disease will be more and more. Parkinson’s disease can damage the patients’motion skill and cause its motion disorders, even has disability. It not only seriously affects the patients’ quality of life and health of body and mind, bring huge burden to family and society.Evaluation of motor function in patients with Parkinson’s disease is an important part of the rehabilitation treatment. It plays an important role in the evaluation of drug effect, guide to establish treatment and auxiliary diagnosis. At present, we mainly rely on rating scale such as UPDRS for the indicators scores, to assess motor function of patients in clinic, which has some shortcomings such as being subjective strongly, not easy to be found and time-consuming long. So it’s very important to manage patients through the objective evaluation for patients’movement characteristics. Considering the inertial sensor has many characteristics, such as lightweight, portable and low consumption, the inertial sensor based on the triaxial accelerometer and three-axis gyroscope is used to measure and evaluate the patient’s motor function in this paper. This paper studied the motor function of patients with PD based on inertial sensor. Five nodes of sensor’s data acquisition terminal were worn on different parts of body, to collect triaxial accelerometer signals and three axis angular velocity signals generated when people exercise. Then these signals were analysised and processed, and used to evaluate human motor function in the end. In this paper, after erfection and improvement for the operating software of measuring system, a large number of experimental datas were collected to build data base, and prosessed by the algorithm suggested in this paper. The process for signal analysis is:fistly preprocessing signal, then extracting and recognizing the motion signal, calculating motion parameters of human body from four aspects of gait, static balance, posture translation and joint activities, finaly evaluating human motor function. This paper designed some experiment to verify the accuracy of the parameters calculation and results showed that it had high accuracy. Motion parameters form healthy people and patients with Parkinson’s disease in different degrees were calculated. After analysis and discussion for its result, parameters with significant difference were filtered. The result showed that these parameters could be used to evaluate patient’s motor function, assist the doctor in PD patients for early diagnosis and understanding of the extent of disease. Then the patients could be treated timely and accurately, finaly slowing disease progression. |
