Wine is one of the most ancient medicine,the origin of traditional Chinese medicine is closely related to it. Wine received mixed reviews since ancient times. Sometimes it is the medicine of the cure,sometimes is the poison of harm. "Nei Jing" is the first Chinese medicine book to study wine from the Chinese point of view. Although the harm of wine is mentioned in "Nei Jing",wine also as drugs to use at most of time. The modern wine harm to society and human health greatly, people drinking seriously, to find the reason is significant for drawing on advantages and avoiding disadvantages. So comparing the relevant discussions about wine in "Nei Jing" and in the modern book to guide the modern life, it shows both theoretical significance and clinical value.In this paper, combination of literature research and theoretical discussion was adopted to sort out the historical development of the wine and summarize the nature of the wine, the principle of function, hazards and contraindications in "Nei Jing", and collect the variety of the nature,policies, culture and other aspects of the wine in modern. It summarizes the changes between the ancient wine and the modern wine, which laid foundation for the further construction of the theory about the application to medicine and the harmness of the wine.
