Theoretical Investigation Of "Shi Yu" In Huang Di Nei Jing

In the modern society, “Shi Yu” is getting more and more common. Excess “Shi Yu” is threatening human health without us knowing. The details of “Shi Yu” and effects of “Shi Yu” on us, is only mentioned briefly in the past, without any pathological and clinical relevance. Thus, it has been neglected by most doctors, nurses and patients. Huang Di Ne Jing and other books mentioned that "Shi Yu" is an important aspect for life style and clinical symptoms, but it has not been systematically investigated. The lack of organization of the theories of "Shi Yu" is the major contributor of its neglectance in clinical settings. Thus, this systemic review of "Shi Yu" aims to summarize the theory behind of “Shi Yu”.This article is a combination of literature review and theoretical study of “Shi Yu”, including its definition, origin, and progression of the disease. It also discussed the danger of excess “Shi Yu”, clinical symptoms and the cause of excessive “Shi Yu”. This article also discussed the strategies to minimize excess “Shi Yu”. The summary of “Shi Yu” will have significant impact on human life, the diagnosis and the treatment of “Shi Yu”.
