Research On The Application Rules Of Coptis Decoction Based On Data Analysis

Objective:This research explored the clinical application rules of coptis decocton by studying on it so as to provide more theory evidences for coptis deccton in accurate clinical application.Methods:Firstly, dissertations of past-generation medical men were collected and the pathogenesis, significance of compatibility of medicines and therapeutic range of the coptis decoction were preliminarily discussed. Secondly, the date analysis of qualified medical cases of coptis decoction collected for this research had been conducted. At last, the said results were combined for exploring the rules of applying the coptis decoction.Results:The core pathogenesis of coptis decoction is hot upper-jiao, cold lower-jiao while the middle-jiao with the mixture of hotness and coldness. The relationship of the seriousness degree of diseases treated by three therapies(e.g. Xiaochaihu Decoction, Banxia Xiexin Decoction and Coptis Decoction) is progressive. This therapy mainly treats the digestive system disease. The common-used medicines for addition, subtraction & modification are qi-regulating medicine, vital-energy-restoring medicine, etc. The commonly-used drugs for addition and subtraction contain bighead atractylodes rhizome, radix bupleuri, scutellaria baicalensis, fresh ginger, etc. The main clinical indexes for recognition are emesis, epigastric pain, stomachache, inappetence, epigastric oppression, red or pale tongue, yellow & sticky tongue fur, white & sticky tongue fur, stringy pulse, or slippery, thin, rapid, deep or slow pulse.Conclusion:This research revealed the general rules of clinically applying the Coptis Decoction, showing wide range for the application of this therapy. The differences in the pathogenesis and symptoms the said medicines treat between this therapy and Xiaochahu Decoction and Banxia Xiexin Decoction should be paid attention to in clinical practice so that the therapy can be accurately applied.
