Clinical Research Of Shugan Ningxin Shipi Method In Treating Diarrhea Type Irritable Bowel Syndrome Based On The Theory Of Brain Gut Axis

Objective:Based on the theory of brain gut axis, to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of shugan ningxin shipi method in treatment of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome, in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with traditional Chinese medicine. Methods:The clinical 80 patients met the inclusion criteria, according to the principle of randomization, patients were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and control group. The experimental group given the traditional Chinese Medicine Shugan Ningxin Shipi Decoction in the treatment, the control group was given Pinaverium Bromide Tablets and Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets in the treatment.The course of treatment in the two groups are 4 weeks, records and statistics of patients in each group before and after treatment in the primary and secondary symptoms integral, TCM symptom total score, depression and anxiety integral, the curative effect of TCM syndrome changes were observed, and the results were compared and analyzed by statistical method. Results:(1) After treatment, the patients in the two groups in the primary and secondary symptoms had different degrees of improvement(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05), abdominal pain, stool frequency, stool characters, bowel flatus,anxiety or depression therapeutic effects in the two groups were similar(P > 0.05), stuffy in the belching, chest expansion, anorexia, fatigue, insomnia and more dreams, in the experimental group were better than the control group(P < 0.05).(2) In the total score of TCM symptoms, the two groups of patients with different degrees of improvement(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05), but the experimental group was better than the control group(P < 0.05), the difference was statistically significant.(3) In the total curative effect of Chinese medicine syndrome, the total efficacy of the experimental group was 85%, the control group was 80%, the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05), the difference was statistically significant.(4) In the anxiety and depression scores, the two groups of patients were improved(P < 0.05), the curative effect is similar(P > 0.05). Conclusion:Shugan Ningxin Shipi method in treating diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome can significantly improve the clinical cure rate, significantly improve the state of anxiety and depression in patients with and improve the quality of life of the patients, the mechanism may can modulate brain gut peptide levels and reduce visceral hypersensitivity and thus play a role.
