Objective:To study the distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes in 142 patients with immune thrombocytopenia, and the relationship between TCM Syndrome Types and gender, age, precursor pathogenic factors, course of disease, bleeding tendency, platelet count and megakaryocyte count.Methods:142 patients with immune thrombocytopenia were progressed the differentiation of TCM syndromes, at the same time, 142 patients with immune thrombocytopenia were analyzed by statistic analysis of gender, age, precursor pathogenic factors, course of disease, bleeding tendency, platelet count and megakaryocyte count. To observe the characteristics of TCM syndrome type distribution, and the correlation of TCM Syndrome Types and gender, age, precursor pathogenic factors, course of disease, bleeding tendency, platelet count, megakaryocyte count.Results:1.The distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes in 142 patients with immune thrombocytopenia : TCM differentiation typing operated are hyperactivity of fire due to Yin deficiency(62.0%),Qi failing to control blood(21.1%),the bleeding due to blood-heat(9.2%),blood stasis vessel obstruction syndrome(7.7%).The fire due to Yin deficiency is the most in the four syndrome-types.2.The male and female proportion is 1to 1.33,There was significant difference between male and female(P<0.05),there were no differences on the differentiation of syndromes through sexuality distributing(P>0.05).3.The ages of patients is centered 19-39 years old(41.6%).The average age of the bleeding due to blood-heat is minimum. 4.The TCM Syndrome Types and the course of disease :Yin deficiency and the bleeding due to blood-heat of relatively short duration,Qi failing to control blood and blood stasis vessel obstruction syndrome of relatively long duration.5.The TCM Syndrome Types and bleeding tendency: the mean value of bleeding propensity score in the fire due to Yin deficiency and Qi failing to control blood is lower than the average of platelet in the bleeding due to blood-heat and blood stasis vessel obstruction(P<0.05).6.The TCM Syndrome Types and platelet count:the mean value of platelet in the fire due to Yin deficiency and Qi failing to control blood is greater than the average of platelet in the bleeding due to blood-heat and blood stasis vessel obstruction(P<0.05).7.The relationship between TCM Syndrome Types and megakaryocyte count: the mean value of megakaryocyte in the fire due to Yin deficiency and Qi failing to control blood is greater than the average of megakaryocyte in the bleeding due to blood-heat and blood stasis vessel obstruction.Conclusions:1.The fire due to Yin deficiency is the most in the four syndrome-types.2.142 cases of ITP patients with the incidence of female, there were no differences on the differentiation of syndromes through sexuality distributing.3.The ages of patients is centered 19-39 years old.The average age of the bleeding due to blood-heat is minimum. That may be related to children with pure-yang constitution.4.Different syndrome types have different duration of disease,it suggests that the course of disease is one of the factors that affect the distribution of TCM syndrome types,to a certain extent, the TCM syndrome can reflect the length of the course of disease.5.The fire due to Yin deficiency and Qi failing to control blood bleeding propensity score are lower, but platelet count and the great nuclear cells are higher, may be speculated that bleeding propensity ?platelet count and megakaryocyte counts may use consult evidence of ITP'TCM syndrome.
