Clinical Study Of Xiaokebitong Capsule On The Polyol Pathway In DPN Patients

Purpose: By observing the change of aldose reductase activity,Na+-K+-ATPase activity,nerve conduction velocity of DPN patients after treatment,to explore the influence of Xiaokebitong capsule on qi deficiency blood stasis patients with DPN polyols metabolic pathways,Digging the potential action targets and mechanism of Xiaokebitong capsule to affirm the clinical curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of DPN,and provide reliable theoretical basis for its clinical application.Method: The qualified 60 patients with DPN were divided into two groups of 30 cases in each randomly.On the basis of conventional treatment,the treatment group take Xiaokebitong capsule Orally,the control group take Epalrestat Tablets Orally,treatment for 12 weeks.By observing the change of some indexs which include clinical symptoms,polyols metabolic indexs(AR activity and Na+-K+-ATPase activity),nerve conduction velocity and blood sugar,blood fat,hemorrheology before and after treatment,to evaluate the comprehensive effect of Xiaokebitong capsule.Result: TCM syndrome integral of patients in treatment group are improved obviously,and the effect is better than that of Epalrestat Tablets control group(P<0.01).The peroneal nerve conduction velocity and sural nerve conduction velocity of patients in treatment group are improved,and the effect is better than that of Epalrestat Tablets control group(P<0.05).The AR activity of patients are restrained and the Na+-K+-ATPase activity are increased in treatment group,and the improvement of the polyol metabolism is better than that of Epalrestat Tablets control group(P<0.05).Blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin and hemorrheology indexes of the treatment group are all improved,and the effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group(P<0.05?P<0.01).Conclusion: Xiaokebitong capsule can improve the sugar metabolism,hemorheology,MCV and SCV of patients with DPN.Xiaokebitong capsule can improve the clinical symptoms of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome of DPN patients.Xiaokebitong capsule can restrain the AR activity and increase the Na+-K+-ATPase activity of patients with DPN.Improving polyol metabolism may be an action targets and mechanism,when Xiaokebitong capsule have good clinical curative effect.
