Clinical Analysis Of Atlantoaxial Joint Disorder Treated By Manual Reduction Combined With Kinesiotape Therapy

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical therapeutic effects of treating atlantoaxial joint disorder by manual reduction combined with kinesiotape therapy, and to provide reliable clinical evidence and basis for clinical application of kinesiotape therapy. To found a simple and highly effective therapeutic schedule of treating atlantoaxial joint disorder in order to improve the curative effect.MethodsTheoretieal exploration:to study the document research on the sconcept, anatomical and biomechanical, pathogenesis,clinical diagnosis, treatment method, standard of curative effect evaluation of the atlantoaxial joint disorder. Clinical research:a total of 60 atlantoaxial joint disorder patients were randomly divided into treatment group (manual reduction and kinesiotape therapy) and control group (manual reduction) with 30 cases in each group. The clinical therapeutic effects were observed after 3 times of treatment. And recurrence rate of the patients who were cured were outpatient follow-up after 3 months.ResultsAfter the treatment, the scores of clinical symptom scale and X-ray film shown of two groups were significantly improved (P<0.05), and the treatment group gained better clinical symptom scale scores than control group significantly (P<0.05),but there was no statistical significant difference in the X-ray film shown in the two groups (P>0.05). After three times of treatment, the cure rate of treatment group was better than the control group significantly (P<0.05), but there was no statistical significant difference in the total therapeutic effective rate in the two groups (P=0.605). And the recurrence rate of the patients who were cured in treatment group was lower than control group statistically (P<0.05).ConclusionManual reduction combined with kinesiotape therapy for treatment of atlantoaxial joint disorder is safe and effective. The restoration of anatomic location after atlantoaxial joint disorder mainly rely on manual reduction, while the effect of kinesiotape therapy is not big. But kinesiotape therapy as one kind of auxiliary treatment, combined with manual reduction can gain more therapeutic effects, it is worth to be promoted.
