Transient ischemic attack (TIA), is also known as a transient ischemic attack or mini-stroke, usually cause brain dysfunction because of decrease in cerebral blood flow within a short period of time. Once TIA attack, it usually last a few seconds, minutes or hours, no more than 24 hours each time. AHA/ASA announced the revised definition of TIA on 2009, " TIA is an transient neurological deficit symptoms caused by the deficiency of blood in brain, spinal cord, or retinal ischemia, not associated with acute infarction."TIA is the most important risk factor for ischemic stroke, according to incomplete statistics,25-40% of TIA patient transferred to complete infarction in the next five years, which seriously influenced human health. It is increasingly important to study TIA disease thoroughly. In this thesis, a total of 5,569 outpatient prescription cases from 2008 to 2010 were studied and analysised by SPSS software, exploring the relationship between TIA diseases and age, meteorological factors, other relative diseases and some other influence factors. Meanwhile the law and the characteristics of the TIA medication were acquired through a comprehensive analysis on a large number of outpatient prescription.300 questionnaires were issued to the TIA patients randomized (patients with the diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease meet the revised diagnostic criteria), studying the information of gender, age, occupation, medical history, medication history, whether drinking or smoking to verify the statistical results.1. Influencing factors of TIA incidenceFrom the statistical analysis results we found that, during the 2008-2010 period, TIA mainly happened in middle aged people (40-59 years old) and the trend of TIA incidence was getting younger. TIA incidence was seasonal, rainfall and sunshine show little correlation with TIA while temperature was negatively correlated with it, with the decrease of the temperature, the incidence of TIA is increasing. When the average temperature is above 26 ?, it shows the lowest incidence rate, the average temperature is as low as 0 ?, it shows the highest incidence rate. The temperature of the incidence of the regression equation:TIA incidence=36.410-0.418xtemperature (?); The incidence of TIA is also associated with a variety of other diseases, through statistical analysis we found that the incidence of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cerebral arteriosclerosis and diabetes significantly affected TIA (P<0.05). All patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, atherosclerosis and diabetes are more prone to develop into TIA disease. Through the statistical analysis between the year of 2008-2010, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cerebral arteriosclerosis, diabetes and TIA incidence of regression equation were:TIA incidence= 88.742+9.115xNumber of hypertension, TIA incidence=78.924+11.251× Number of high cholesterol, TIA incidence= 98.423+9.929×Number of cerebral arteriosclerosis, TIA incidence= 80.751+11.512×Number of diabetes respectively, all regression equations were statistically significant.2. Analysis on TIA medicationCombination therapy of Chinese and Western drugs composed the medication mode of People's Hospital of Liaocheng during the period of the year 2008-2010. Western medicine mainly consitituted the TIA medication while traditional Chinese medicine were regarded as complementary medication. The average ratio between western medicine and the traditionally Chinese medicine was 0.70. Among all of the western medicine, anti-platelet aggregation drugs, expanding blood volume drugs, anticoagulant drugs, calcium channel blocker drugs and the blood vessels expanding drugs were widely applied in TIA treatment. Combination therapy became popular in treating TIA diseases because of the better treatment effect than single drug, and now the most common used combination drug were aspirin and clopidogrel. The price of the outpatient prescription is around 100-300 yuan, with the increase of the price, the number of outpatient prescription reduced.3. Questionnaires on TIA medicationAll of the conclusions acquired above were proved by the results of the questionnaires. The results of questionaires also indicated that the TIA incidence rate is higher in males than in females, therefore, men should pay more attention to their health condition in case of TIA incidence. Smokers and drinkers were prone to acquire TIA, so it is important to develop a good habit. In conclusion, the paper studied the factors influencing TIA incidence and analyzed the TIA medication. Through the study, we get to know the basic situation of TIA incidence in Liaocheng, the current situation of TIA medication in the Third People's Hospital of Liaocheng and the existing problems in the TIA medication, which probably provide a theoretical basis of clinical application and show great clinical significance.
