According to records, the flowers, seeds and caulis of Wisteria sinensis all have medicinal properties. Some literatures showed the extraction of its leaves show good antibacterial ability. In order to further research and development of this resource, the inhibitory effects of the extracts of Wisteria sinensis leaves from different regions against plant pathogenic fungi were evaluated.5 compounds were separated and purified from butyl alcohol extract of Anhui leaves. The antibacterial activity of seeds extract from different habitats by different extraction against fungiand bacteria were evaluated. The main chemical components of volatile oils from various habitats were detected and compared. The main results were as follows:1 The major chemical compositions were separated and purified by a variety of chromatographic methods. The structures of 5 compounds were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. They were identified as Isovitexin 2''-O-?-L-rhamnopyranoside(1),Luteolin-7-O-rutinoside(2),Carambolaflavone(3),Neoeriocitrin(4),Symplocoside(5).2 The essential oils were extracted with steam distillation from Wisteria sinensis flowers in Beijing and Anhui. The yield ratios were 0.15% and 0.12%,respectively.The constituents of the oils were analyzed by GC-MS.90 compounds of oil from Beijing which accounting for 61.87% were identified, the main components of the oil were 2-Nonadecanone(5.83%),Tricosane(5.52%),2-Tridecanone(4.54%),Benzene,1-methoxy-4-(1-propenyl)(2.75%),1,6-Octadien-3-ol,3,7-dimethyl-(2.66%),Hexadecanoic acid, ethyl ester(2.65%),Benzyl Benzoate(2.53%),2-Pentadecanone,6,10,14-trimethyl-(2.52%),Octacosane(2.49%),et al.64 compounds of oil from Anhui which accounting for 77.64% were identified, the main components of the oil were Heneicosane(12.13%),Tricosane(11.39%),13-Docosenamide(6.40%),(Z)-2-Pentadecanone(3.92%),2-Pentadecanone(3.91%),Butylated hydroxytoluene(2.91%),Hexadecanoic acid, ethyl ester(2.83%),Nonacosane(2.34%),Tetracosane(2.24%),et al.The results showed that the main compounds of the volatile constituents in Wisteria sinensis flowers from various habitats are different, and there are some unique volatile constituents in them respectively.3 The inhibitory effects of the different solvents extract of Wisteria sinensis leaves from Beijing and Anhui and 5 major chemical compositions from Anhui leaves against 3 kinds of fungi were evaluated with mycelium growth rate method. The ethanol extraction and supercritical fluid extraction were used to extract Wisteria sinensis seeds from Beijing and Jiangsu. The extraction rate of extracts were 11.63%?12.39%?9.25%?9.85%,respectively.The inhibitory activities against3 kinds of fungiand 2 kinds of common bacteria of the extracts were evaluated with mycelium growth rate method and resazurin colorimetric–microdilution method. The seeds extract with ethanol extraction from Jiangsushowed the best property, and the EC50 against Glomerella cingulata was 8.23 mg/m L.Other extracts showed no antibacterial activity against the tested fungi and bacteria. So the antibacterial activity of seed extracts from different regions was different, and each extraction with different extraction method had different effects on antibacterial activity. The comparative analysis of chemical constituents between the leaves and flowers of Wisteria sinensis fromvarious habitats were carried out.The bacteriostatic activities of the extracs from leaves and seeds were evaluated. The results from this study provide theoretical base and reference value for thedevelopment and utilization of Wisteria sinensis. It has realistic significance for increasing its additional value at the same time.
