The Theory And Application Of Public Opinion Analysis Services In The Field Of Medicine And Health

With the methods of literature review, systems analysis and case study, this paper reviewed the basic definition of public opinion and its development, as well as its new form on network, stated the theory of public opinion analysis on the field of health combining with the characteristics of the field of health. Meanwhile, it explored the available methods for analyzing the public opinion on the field of health by case study, built the analysis system and the operating mode of public opinion on the field of health. Furthermore, it also put forward to the suggestions and countermeasures about how to carry a public opinion analysis service on the field of medicine and health, in order to provide a reference for medical information institutions to carry out the service on public opinion analysis so that to better serve health decision-making.This paper included seven parts. The main sections are as follows:The first chapter is the instruction. It briefly stated the research background and significance of public opinion analysis service in the field of health, and explained the research purposes, contents and methods of this thesis.The second chapter summarized the theoretical achievements of the public opinion research, including the basic concepts, the formation and development and the new form on the network of public opinion.Combining with the characteristics of medicine and health, the third Chapter focused on the definition, features and negative influences of the medical public opinion, as well as the significance and function to carry out the analysis service of public opinion in the field of health, aimed to lay a theoretical foundation for application and practice of public opinion analysis services in the field of medical and health.The fourth chapter made an explore on useful analysis techniques and methods of public opinion so that medical information service institutions can better provide useful decision information for health administrative departments with the currently available resources and conditions. There are four kind of methords:the judgment of hot spots, the regular pattern analysis of public opinion, the trend analysis of viewpoint and the horizontal-vertical comparison analysis.The fifth chapter constructed a medical public opinion analysis system. It consists of three main aspects. The first one is monitoring part, including software monitoring and manual monitoring. The second one is analysis part, including the judgment of hotspot, the regular pattern analysis of public opinion, the trend analysis of viewpoint, the horizontal-vertical comparison analysis and the expert opinion integration. the third one is output part, including the briefings of public opinion, the special reports of public opinion and the direct reporting of public opinion. It also explored the workflow of public opinion analysis service, as well as putting forward the considerations when the medical information service institutions conduct public opinion analysis service.The sixth chapter analyzed and summarized the case of medical public opinion analysis service by Shandong institute of medical and health information, mainly summarized the experiences and enlightenment accumulated in the process of service.The seventh chapter put forward suggestions and countermeasures to optimize public opinion analysis service in the field of medicine and health. Based on the above theory, methords and practice research, the countermeasurses consists of the transformation of the concept of service, increasing research efforts and intensifying qualified personnel. The transformation of the concept of service performance in enhancing initiative service, fighting for the attention and support of the leadership, communicating closely with government departments and updating thinking. Increasing public opinion research efforts includes the establishment of a dedicated research department, strengthening the system construction, clearing work content and developing the public opinion monitoring and analysis system. Intensifying qualified personnel is made up of introduction of comprehensive multidisciplinary background talents, strengthening training of information analysis staff and cooperation with outside experts.
