Objective: To study the difference between the ABO blood groups and the outcomes in patients with primary NMIBC(non muscle-invasive bladder cancer,NMIBC).Methods: 1.Data of patients with NMIBC who came from the department of Urology of The Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University were collected.Clinical data include ABO blood group, age, gender,T stage, tumor grade, with carcinoma in situ, tumor number, tumor size, bladder perfusion, postoperative follow-up interval.2.Data screening:excluding no postoperative follow-up(lost)and other hospital patients(data not available),excluding the patients with the first visit of the T2 and above, excluding with carcinoma in Tis were removed with metastasis and transurethral resection of bladder tumor surgery(TUR-BT)in March after receiving radical cystectomy patients 3.The data was analyzed with SPSS software. Results: In a total of 105 cases, there were 39 cases progress to muscle invasive type,of which 4 patients died of bladder cancer. There were 25 cases of A blood type,30 cases of B blood type,11 cases of AB blood type,39 cases of O blood type.ABO blood type has a significant correlation with tumor number(P=0.032),tumor size(P=0.012),no correlation with age, gender and tumor grade(P=0.463)G(P=0.341).The average time of total sample recurrence is 32.89 months(1 months by 30 days);the progress time is 33.50 months. Those who is with O type has shorter time than B type in recurrence.Tumor numbers based on number is divided into 2 groups, defined as single and multiple. The two groups on recurrence and progression time are significant difference(P = 0.004).No statistical difference was found in the other groups. Conclusion: Those who is with O type has shorter time than B type in recurrence.;there is a significant correlation between ABO blood group system ? tumor size and the number of tumor.ABO blood type and tumor numbers have certain effects on theprognosis of bladder cancer. When we plan in the follow-up of bladder cancer patients, blood should be taken into consideration,so as to improve the accuracy of the prediction of tumor prognosis.
