BackgroudGLM was a rare type of benign breast mastitis.But the GLM is a relatively common disease by the increasing incidence in recent years. It can be breast mass, breast abscess, skin sinus and so on, it may lead to breast resection if GLM is not treated properly. ObjectiveIt is a clinical experimental study of observing the effect of triple-antibacterial treatment of GLM, the program is work or not by observing the cure rate and the postoperative satisfaction of patients. It is not only to solve the pain of patients, but also to meet the requirements of the patient' beauty. MethodCollect patients with a preoperative diagnose of severe GLM, who were treated in the Hospital of XX between June 2013 and June 2015. The total number is 98,they were randomly divided into anti-mycobacteria(isoniazid,rifampicin,ethambutol) group and hormone(methylprednisolone)group,49 cases in each group, then all patients received surgery based on the evaluation of medical treatment. the effective rate of medical treatment and the satisfaction of postsurgery breast between two groups.All patients were followed up after treatment. ResultThe final evaluation of cases in anti-mycobacteria were 47, 3 patients received surgical because drug therapy was not effective, 44 patients were treated with anti-mycobacteria drugs for 2 to 4 months, the fistula of patients were closed well and the mass was smaller. 7 patients were treated with the drugs and cured, 40 patients received surgical treatment after treated with the anti-mycobacteria drugs.The final evaluation of cases in hormone group were 48, 17 patients received surgical because drug therapy was not effective, 31 patients were treated with hormone for half month to 4 months, 48 patients received surgical treatment after treated with the hormone drugs.Total effectiveness and the rate of satisfaction in anti-mycobacteria group was significantly higher than the group of hormone, the difference was significant(p<0.05). ConclutionsThe effect of anti-mycobacteria drugs in the treatment of GLM is significant, improve the cure rate of operation and the appearance of breasts,so it can be used as an adjuvant therapy before surgery.
