The Clinical Effects Of Cognitive Dysfunction Of Cerebral Palsy In Adjusting Shen And Expediting Du Therapy Combined With Cognitive Function Training

Objective: Cerebral palsy is one of the most common diseases,which m ake children disabled.Cerebral palsy rehabilitation therapy ha s been widely more and more attention.According to the cogniti ve dysfunction of cerebral palsy,the research put forward the acupuncture method of “Adjusting Shen and Expediting Du”.Thr ough discussing the curative effect and merits of “Adjusting S hen and Expediting Du” therapy combined with cognitive functio n training,thus discovers a more effective method to improve t he clinical effects of cerebral palsy and provide the rehabilit ation treatment of thought of curing the cerebral palsy.Methods: Before the treatment,60 cerebral palsy with cognitive dysf unction children were evaluated with Gesell diagnosis developme ntal scale and Activities of Daily Life(ADL)by professionals.Then the 60 children were randomly divided into acupuncture gro up,training group and combined group.Acupuncture group receiv ed ”Adjusting Shen and Expediting Du” acupuncture methods,ch ose Shen Ting,Bai Hui,Da Zhui,Zhi Yang,Yao Yangguan points in Go vernor meridian and Fei Shu,Xin Shu,Gan Shu,Pi Shu,Shen Shu poin ts in Bladder meridian.The treating group were training by the professional therapists with cognitive function.Combined grou p received both acupuncture and cognitive function training.Th ree groups were treated six time a week and a duration included 2 month.After 2 duration,the total curative effect rate,the Developmental Quotient(DQ)and Activities of Daily Life(ADL)were evaluated.Result: Experimental studies have shown that the total effective ra te of combined group was higher than both acupuncture group and training group(p<0.05).Comparing with the acupuncture group and the training group,the Developmental Quotient(DQ)in co mbined group were improved obviously.Conclusion: “Adjusting Shen and Expediting Du” acupuncture therapy is effective in the treatment of cognitive dysfunction of cerebral palsy.Both of the curative effect and DQ of acupuncture combined with cognitive function training is superior to simple and pure acupuncture or training treatment.
