Objective To measure the expression of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P in serum of sepsis patients. And to explore the the clinical application value of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P.Method Choose 90 cases of patients with sepsis in EICU of The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015. They were divided into 3 groups according to the severity: 30 cases of sepsis, 30 cases of severe sepsis, and 30 cases of septic shock. At the same time, 30 healthy persons were selected as the control group. Collect the clinical data and related indicators of each group, and measure the expression of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P, to evaluate their clinical value in the diagnosis and treatment of sepsis.Results 1. The expression of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P in serum of sepsis patients higher than healthy controls. 2. The area under the ROC curve for mi R-155-5P in the diagnosis of sepsis was 0.818(95% CI, 0.709 0.927), while the area under the ROC curve of mi R-133a-3P was 0.800(95% CI, 0.702 0.898). 3. The expression of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P in serum between groups of sepsis, severe sepsis, sepsis shock was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4. The area under the ROC curve of mi R-155-5P in the diagnosis of sepsis myocardial injury is 0.613(95% CI, 0.496 0.730). The area under the ROC curve of mi R-133a-3P in the diagnosis of sepsis myocardial injury is 0.748(95% CI, 0.645 0.852). 5. PCT, CRP, TNI, LAC, sepsis severity, and the expression of mi R-155-5P is the independent factors influencing the prognosis of sepsis(P < 0.05).Conclusion 1. The expression of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P in sepsis patients serum higher than the healthy controls. This suggests both of them involved in the pathogenesis of sepsis, and both of them may be tumor-specific markers for the diagnosis of sepsis. 2. The expression level of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P is significantly different in patients with different severity of sepsis. Both of them may participate in the deterioration process of sepsis, which can be used as distinguishing sepsis illness severity index. 3. The expression level of mi R-133a-3P can be used as sepsis diagnostic indicator of myocardial injury. The value of mi R-155-5P and mi R-133a-3P in judgment of whether coagulant function damage and kidney function damage is not high. 4. The expression of mi R-155-5P is the independent factors of influence the prognosis of sepsis. It can be used as the prognostic indicators of sepsis.
