Purpose: To investigate the link between the TCM syndrome of vascular cognitive impairment on dementia and the cognitive domains with functional impairment screened by MoCA,which lays a foundation for giving the targeted interventional treatment to the corresponding cognitive domains with functional impairment of the patients,in order to avoid dementia.Method: By cross-sectional survey, cases collected from six branch units(changchun university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital, heilongjiang university second affiliated hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, liaoning university hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, second affiliated hospital of liaoning medical university, shanxi college of traditional Chinese medicine hospital, affiliated hospital of shandong university of TCM)in November 2012-December 2013 nerve internal medicine outpatient and hospitalization of patients with mild cognitive impairment after stroke.Based on the information collected data descriptive and correlation analysis, the patients' general information,MoCA neuropsychological assessment scale and the scale for the differentiation of syndromes of mild cognitive impairment were filled out to discuss the VCIND neuropsychological damage characteristics, characteristics of TCM syndrome distribution and the correlation between VCIND syndromes and MoCA scale score of the cognitive domain.Result:1.The proportion of abstraction, delayed memory, visual spatial execution, language fluency, concentration, naming and directional force of VICND patients are respectively 27.40%,55.40%,60.60%,62.57%,73.67%,83.67%,90.00% in their full mark.2.VCIND two syndrome types, the compound in the spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm turbidity blocking upper orifices composite card type accounted for 44.15%.Followed by excess of toxic heat, hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency composite card type which accounts for 10.28%3.Obsessed with the spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm turbidity blocking upper orifices in all single independent type appears in the ratio of 24.27% and 25.66% respectively.Followed by qi and blood deficiency(13.11%),blood stasis obstructing brain collaterals(12.69%),excess of toxic heat(11.58%),hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency(10.88%),viscera stagnation and turbid left(1.81%).4.Obsessed with the spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm turbidity blocking upper orifices of two type of syndrome type in a variety of combinations in the total rate was 51.35%,43.57%.Followed by hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency(30.01%),excess of toxic heat(25.98%),qi and blood deficiency(22.61%),blood stasis obstructing brain collaterals(21.67%),viscera stagnation and turbid left(15.89%).5.There is a negative correlativity between the mark of excess of toxic heat syndrome and that of directional force(P< 0.05),the same as phlegm turbidity blocking upper orifices and naming(P< 0.05),phlegm turbidity blocking upper orifices and language fluency(P<0.01),the syndrome of Qi and blood deficiency and concentration(P<0.05),the syndrome of Qi and blood deficiency and directional force(P<0.01),syndrome of blood stasis obstructing brain collaterals and directional force(P<0.05),syndrome of viscera stagnation and turbid left and naming(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The abstraction, delayed memory, visual spatial execution, language fluency of VCIND patients may be badly damaged.2.The deficiency of spleen and kidney and phlegm turbid blocking upper orifices are two main syndrome TCM syndromes of VCIND.3.VCIND syndromes in patients with integral part and MoCA score is negatively related to cognitive domain.
