Objective:To explore the related factors which influencing the prognosis of sepsis, to provide help for clinical assessment of the severity of the disease, taking corresponding measures in time and improving its prognosis. Methods:We collected 178 sepsis-hospitalize patients as the research object? The 178 cases was divided into survivor (93 cases) group and non-survivor group (85 cases) according to the 28-day survival? We obtained datas on the first day of admission:age, sex, white blood cell count, platelet count, albumin, serum creatinine, prothrombin time, Ca2+ concentration, calcitonin, C-reactive protein, APACHE II score, for clinical analysis. Further binary classification Logistic regression analysis was to get the independent risk factors influencing the prognosis of sepsis. Results:Compared with sepsis patients of the survivor, the age, APACHE II score, platelet count, serum creatinine, C - reactive protein, and calcitonin of the non-survivor were increased (P<0.05), and blood calcium, albumin were reduced (p<0.05), while the white blood cell count and sex were no statistical difference between the two groups (p>0.05).Further binary classification Logistic regression analysis showed that:higher serum creatinine, higher calcitonin, higher APACHE ? score, lower serum Ca were the independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with sepsis (p<0.05).Conclusion:(1) The age,the platelet count, serum creatinine, albumin, serum concentration of Ca, prothrombin time, APACHE ? score, calcitonin, and c-reactive protein of sepsis patients is related with its prognosis, while white blood cell count and sex has nothing to do with the prognosis. (2) Higher serum creatinine, higher calcitonin, higher APACHE ? score in the early course of disease, lower serum Ca are the independent risk factors influencing the prognosis of sepsis, and can be used as the basis of judging the bad sepsis prognosis.
