In recent years,the electronic endoscope has been used widely in medical diagnosis and clinical surgery,and it has caused the extensive research and discussion at home and abroad.This paper described the development history and research status quo of the endoscopy,it introduced the electronic endoscope,the principle of optical imaging system and optical lighting system.It has designed a optical imaging system with wide field and ultrafine diameter and lighting system with uniform illumination.Medical electronic endoscope has occupied the important position in clinical medical diagnosis without anesthesia,and it has brought great convenience to the doctors and patients.Professional doctors not only can observe the body morphology and pathological changes directly on the display by the medical electronic endoscope,but also can analyze the images and videos stored by image processing center.These images and videos have been transmitted on the screen by CCD(Charge Coupled Device)and the cable transmission.This paper mainly studied the working principle,the optical imaging system and the optical illuminating system of electronic endoscope.The optical imaging system was designed and optimized by the ZEMAX optical design software.The focusing system of illuminating system was designed by ZEMAX,and the illuminating system was analyzed and simulated by Trace Pro illumination simulation software.The optical imaging system Designed by the paper has met the demand of ultrafine diameter and wide field.Illumination system has met the requirements of high and uniform illumination.The main content of this paper consists of four parts:(1)An imaging optical system for medical endoscope was designed.The maximum diameter of the imaging system was 2 mm.The largest view angle was 75 °,The distortion at the edge of the field was less than 20%.The largest spatial resolution was 145 lp /mm.The primary aberration of the optical system has been corrected well,and the depth of field was bigger than others.It had good image quality and uniform illumination on image.Plus the outer tube and fiber beam,the largest diameter was 5.4 mm,meeting the size of less than 8 mm without anesthesia.(2)A medical endoscope optical system with super field of view has been designed.The system has matched the 1/10 inch CCD.The maximum diameter was 2 mm,the largest view Angle was 100 °,and the relative aperture was 1/3.The distortion of optical system at the edge of the field was 25%,and the maximum spatial resolution was bigger than 100 lp/ mm.(3)The imaging optical system has matched the 1/10 inch CCD.The biggest view angle of the system was 50 °,the relative aperture was 1/3,and the maximum spatial resolution was higher than 100 lp/mm.Optical system had great depth of field.The magnification is bigger than the viewing Angle of 100 °.(4)The illuminating system matched the optical system has been designed for medical endoscope.The source of illuminating system was external cold light source.The advantages were uniform illumination and no hurting to people.The maximum diameter of endoscope head was 5.4mm to realize the diagnosis without anesthesia.
